Dhamaka Trailer: Kartik Aaryan’s Action-Packed Thriller Promises To Move Us All

Since Kartik Aaryan’s announcement about the ‘Dhamaka’ trailer drop today, the nation has been patiently waiting to see what his upcoming film is going to offer and looks like it was all worth the wait. Directed by Ram Madhvani who is best known for his film ‘Neerja’ and the Disney+ Hotstar series ‘Aarya’, we see Dhamaka explode an ocean of emotions on our screens.

The upcoming action thriller is based on the Korean film from 2013 titled ‘The Terror Live’ and stars Kartik Aaryan as the protagonist alongside other cast members that include Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and Vishwajeet Pradhan.

Dhamaka: A Thriller For Our Conscience

The trailer is not subtle about how the film is going to be played out. We see cynical ex-tv anchor Arjun Pathak who receives an alarming call on his radio show that becomes the medium through which he plans to get back his position in the media business- a primetime anchor at Bharosa TV. But, will his way back to his career cost him his conscience?

Looks like the alarming call was made by a terrorist who will go to any lengths to get what he wants. But, will Arjun comply? Sitting in front of live television, this is the version of the media circus that feels authentic and we might remind one of the 2010 thriller ‘Rann’ just replacing the political part with a rather psychological take.

The key to self lies within the quality of decisions we make, and now we wait to see what Arjun Pathak will decide and how that decision will come to life.

The film will exclusively air on Netflix on 19th November 2021.
