Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga Review Contains Mild Spoilers
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga first starts as a love story between flight attendant Neha and Ankit, one of the flight passengers. The couple devises a plan to steal diamonds on one of the flights to repay Ankit’s loan. After the love story, it’s time for hostage drama. The flight on which they plan to steal the diamond gets hijacked. How will Neha, Ankit, and other passengers escape it safely? What do the hijackers want? We find out everything in the end.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga has many twists till the end. One can figure out why the love story happened. But everything else that happens in the flight and after that is unexpected. Along with being twisted, the movie packs in some outlandish moments.
The terrorists have passengers at gunpoint, but all Neha and Ankit care about are the diamonds. Ankit gets beaten up by the hijackers. Yet, it didn’t stop him from getting the diamonds from a particular bag. Would the efforts and pain make sense if Neha or Ankit got shot?

Hostage thrillers are always disturbing to watch. Director Ajay Singh has managed to bring that distress when the passengers are held, hostage. But the hijack sequence is very lengthy. Half the time, the hijackers do nothing but just scream around and beat up Ankit. The plot goes nowhere. Another lengthy sequence was the build-up of the love story between Ankit and Neha. It could’ve been shorter, considering there will be more subplots for the viewers to catch up with.

On paper, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga must have seemed like a solid story that would leave the audience on the edge of their seat. But the execution makes it look outlandish. It depicts how easy it is for any random person to plan out dangerous things.
Sharad Kelkar, who plays an interrogating officer, doesn’t seem to have much power. The ending is a big disappointment. How could anyone just get over the fact that the plane was hijacked and passengers were scared for their life? How did such a life-threatening situation get dismissed with Sharad’s smirk and an over-the-top dialogue?

Yami Gautam, who’s on a spree of doing thrillers. As Neha, she played her part well, but her character didn’t bring out anything extraordinary in her. Sunny aka Ankit, gives you the creeps from the start. Sadly, their characters overall are quite dull, especially Ankit’s. We at least have Neha’s lame backstory, but Ankit’s character lacks depth.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga Movie Review: Final Thoughts
Overall, Netflix’s latest film is silly and twisted, and after the twists are revealed, it defies logic. Even though a few twists are unforeseen, it just doesn’t give the satisfaction you expect from thriller movies.
The movie is now streaming on Netflix.
