Chasing Waves is an upcoming docuseries that will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar. Directed by Sophia Kruz and Jason Baffa, the series will highlight the Japanese surf culture and its significance. Sophia Kruz, Christopher G. Cowen and Andrew Fried are the series’ producers. Kyle Pahlow is the cinematographer, and William Ryan Fritch and The Gifted give the music.

After surfing debuted in Tokyo Olympics 2020, Japan has become a major hub for the sport. The series will highlight the country’s reach in the global surf culture and investigates deeper into the diverse regions. Japan’s long coastline ranging over 18000 miles, makes the country one of a kind.
In the trailer, the picturesque locations of the country are displayed. The creators utilised top-notch camera equipment to capture the most complex moves by the athletes in the sea.
