– Change Days Season 2 Episode 15 Recap Contains Spoilers –

Change Days season 2 episode 15 starts with a fight between Ji-yu and Do-hyeon. Although it’s a sad fight, it’s an important one for the couple that clears up their relationship and makes way for growth between the two. Meanwhile, Hui-hyeon and Jeong-hun’s date mimics that between her and Do-hyeon. It’s an odd sensation, even the MCs feel awkward.

However, their conversation, too, is rather important for their relationship, and it’s nice to see the changes in the individuals and how they think about themselves instead of pleasing the other person. Anyway, Hui-hyeon and Jeong-hun’s conversation takes a very serious turn since their situation is rather precarious.

Meanwhile, Hyo-gi and Yun-seul go on a date to where he had gone on a date with Hui-hyeon. And right off the bat, you see the tension between them. The two of them are on different pages and it’s actually sad to see that Yun-seul doesn’t get a say in the conversation. Lastly, Tae-wan and Hye-yeon go on a date to the restaurant where he had crashed her date.

This time around, they have a calm conversation wherein Hye-yeon shows maturity about her hand in the situation that they have created. It’s nice seeing her change as well, but good things between Tae-wan and Hye-yeon only last as long, and a text between Hye-yeon and some old acquaintance opens up old wounds.

In the end, the contestants got the opportunity to go on the last change date but will they be able to choose each other and go at the end of the day?

Interestingly, no one matched with anyone else. Some of them made the decision knowing that they won’t be chosen, while the choice, or lack thereof, comes as a shock for most of the contestants. As the final selection comes close, what happens to the contestants and their relationships?

I think I am more interested to find out the changes that the contestants have undergone and the decisions that they have taken now that things are finally wrapping up. Most have decided to forego these dates and focus on their original relationships.

It’s interesting to note that for relationships as small as 9 months, people have such high expectations from their partners. Most of them are too toxic to be able to juggle a mature relationship, and almost all need to see a therapist.

I can say with 100% certainty that some of these couples wouldn’t last another year even if they choose to go with each other at the end of this. Discounting the fact that this might entirely be scripted, what we see on screen doesn’t bode well for any relationship and some of what these people are doing borders on craziness. I’d feel so trapped if my partner behaved like this with me!

But then again, this is a reality TV show, and, in that aspect, this was a rather fun watch.

Change Days is streaming on Netflix.
