Castlevania Nocturne is an upcoming dark fantasy animated series based on the video game series of the same name by Korami. Created and written by Clive Bradley and led by producer Kevin Kolde for Netflix, the series is a spin-off of the Castlevania animated series. Powerhouse Animation Studios is the primary animator of the show, and Sam Deats and Adam Deats are directing under it. Kevin Kolde and Clive Bradley will serve as front-runners and executive producers under the banner of Project 51 Productions.
The show will consist of a total of 8 episodes with a runtime of approximately 20-25 minutes. The episodes are shot in English and subtitles will be available.
Castlevania Nocturne Cast
The series contains many important characters which will be voiced by an ensemble cast. The voice actors for the characters are as follows: Edward Bluemel as Richter Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont vampire hunting clan, and Pixie Davies as Maria Renard, who is a young revolutionary during the French Revolution. Thuso Mbedu as Annette, a young sorceress and ex-slave from the Caribbean and Franka Potente as Erzsebet Báthory, a vampire queen. Nastassja Kinski will voice Tera, Sydney James Harcourt as Edouard and Zahn McClarnon as Olrox.
Castlevania Nocturne Plot/Synopsis
The plot of the series is adapted from the 1993 entry Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and its sequel Symphony of the Night. It centres on Richter Belmont, a member of the Belmont family, and is set in 1792, at the height of the French Revolution. Richer Belmont, who is a descendant of the Belmont vampire-hunting clan, has to make a tough choice. To prevent the world from an apocalypse, he must join a group of unlikely hunters and magicians during the peak of the French Revolution.

In the trailer, Richter is seen fighting against many supernatural enemies who threaten the very existence of humanity. Along with his team of misfits, he fights against various foes to protect and serve the people. Moreover, it is revealed that he is the last hunter of the Belmont family, which further fuels the passion to bring down every monster. However, it will not be easy to win against the enemies as they are extremely dangerous, ruthless and intelligent vampires who have gone through various evolutions.
