Business Proposal Episode 3 is now out on Netflix. The Korean show stars Ahn Hyo-seop as Kang Tae-moo, Kim Se-jeong as Shin Ha-ri, Kim Min-kyu as Cha Sung-hoon, Seol In-ah as Jin Young-seo, Lee Deok-hwa as President Kang Da-goo, Song Won-seok as Lee Min-woo. The new episode is an hour-long and has English subtitles. The main plot is stated as, “In disguise as her friend, Ha-ri shows up to a blind date to scare him away. But plans go awry when he turns out to be her CEO — and makes a proposal.”
Business Proposal Episode 3 synopsis reads, “Tae-moo lies about having a girlfriend to stop the endless barrage of blind dates, with the perfect person in mind to play the part.”
Business Proposal Episode 3 Recap Contains Major Spoilers (Not A Review)
At the end of episode 2, Tae-moo and Ha-ri (Geum-hui) accidentally kiss. In Business Proposal Episode 3, Tae-moo becomes unconscious as he falls on the ground. When he comes to his senses, he discusses the relationship contract with Ha-ri. Tae-moo tells Ha-ri that if she fails to abide by the contract, she will have to pay him 100% double the amount of the money he’s offering her. When Ha-ri asks him why such a huge amount, Tae-moo says that he lost a big contract worth that much amount because he fell unconscious outside her house.
Tae-moo updates Ha-ri (Geum-hui) all information about his childhood, college and business life. Ha-ri is quite impressed with his life and success so far. Tae-moo also shares information, likes/dislikes about his grandfather. He wants Geum-hui to remember everything so that she doesn’t forget anything when she meets his grandfather.
Young-seo’s father wants her to go on another blind date. The father-daughter argue. Young-seo’s father asks her to leave the house. Young-seo is now house hunting. She spends a night at Ha-ri’s place till she finds a new house.
At the office, Ha-ri’s team has to find a new chef as a replacement for the chef who got fired. Ha-ri’s team leader suggests Min-woo’s name as he’s a good chef too. Ha-ri gets excited and decides to make a great profile of Min-woo as a chef who will get him hired.
Ha-ri (Geum-hui) meets Tae-moo and Sung-hoon. Tae-moo asks Geum-hui a few questions to check if she has remembered all the details about him and his life or not. Geum-hui says they should also have a romantic story of their first meeting to tell his grandfather. Ha-ri makes up a story of a romantic rainy night in New York where she meets Tae-moo. Tae-moo tells her to stop and says he doesn’t like rainy weather.

Ha-ri meets Min-woo to click pictures of his food dishes. She is quite excited to make a great profile for her crush. Ha-ri’s efforts pay well as she creates a brilliant presentation on why Min-woo is the best chef replacement. To avoid getting recognised by Tae-moo in the meeting, Ha-ri wears a face mask and pretends to have a cold. The meeting otherwise goes well.
Later at night, Ha-ri heads to Min-woo’s restaurant to tell him he’s selected. However, she’s shocked to see Min-woo kissing someone. A heartbroken Ha-ri walks out of the restaurant and sits at the bus stop. Ha-ri misses her bus and all the papers from her hand fall on the road. At the same time, Tae-moo calls her, and her phone accidentally gets answered. Seeing Min-woo with someone else and all the mess around, Ha-ri bursts into tears. Tae-moo hears her crying on the other side of the call and wonders what must have happened. Ha-ri is unaware that her phone got answered accidentally.
The next day, Ha-ri as Geum-hui meets Tae-moo. It’s finally the day where she meets Tae-moo’s grandfather. The meeting goes awkward in the beginning as Tae-moo’s grandfather isn’t pleased with Geum-hui’s appearance. But when they get talking, Tae-moo’s grandfather starts liking Geum-hui. SDuring lunch, she tells a fake story that again happens on a rainy day. Later, Tae-moo takes her aside and warns her not to speak out whatever comes to her mind. He also doesn’t want her to mention rainy weather again.
Tae-moo’s grandfather takes Tae-moo and Geum-hui outside to enjoy Steamed Bun dessert. When Geum-hui and Tae-moo’s grandfather enjoy the dessert, her bag accidentally falls. Tae-moo’s grandfather gets his hand on the concert ticket, which Ha-ri got as a birthday gift from Min-woo. Immediately, Tae-moo comes there and says he has to leave for a business meeting. His grandfather yells at him for focusing on work so much instead of going to the concert with her.

Business Proposal Episode 3 also focuses on Young-seo and Sung-hoon today. Young-seo finds a new house, and her neighbour is none other than Sung-hoon. Something happens due to which Young-seo seeks help from her neighbour. She’s surprised to see it’s Sung-hoon. Together, they solve the issue, and Young-seo asks him if they can be friends. Sadly, Sung-hoon refuses to be her friend because of what she did with Tae-moo.
Tae-moo and Geum-hui attend the concert together. The singer mentions their seat number and reads a letter by Min-woo. Min-woo’s letter mentions how this girl loves him, but he doesn’t feel the same. He hopes his friend finds someone and attends the concert with a guy. A romantic song is played, and Ha-ri gets emotional and cries a lot. Tae-moo hands her his handkerchief to wipe the tears.
After the concert, Tae-moo and Geum-hui walk together. He says how the woman next to him said he’s just a replacement for the guy she loved. But he’s pleased that she got closure. Ha-ri asks Tae-moo why is he faking the relationship instead of being in a real one. Their entire conversation is quite adorable. Together, they decide to have street food. However, when Geum-hui is on a call with her father, a ball hits her eyes.
The next day, Ha-ri sees that her eye is still swollen. She wonders if Tae-moo will recognise her. At the office, Ha-ri tries to place an eyepatch on the eye that’s swollen. Suddenly, the elevator door opens, and Tae-moo stands in front of her. Ha-ri is shocked and Tae-moo looks confused.
Business Proposal Episode 3 Recap: Final Thoughts
Ha-ri finally realised that Min-woo doesn’t love her back in today’s episode. It is a hint that his chapter is over for her. But there’s some spark going on between Tae-moo and Ha-ri (Geum-hui). Is it the beginning of something new? Will their relationship turn into a real one, or will Tae-moo figure out Geum-hui’s real identity? We can’t wait for the next episode to find out the same.
