BTS’ RM has been hinting to the fans of the South Korean boyband, about what his solo album would be, and in a new update, it has been reported that the album might come sooner than expected. On November 1, initially, JTBC News reported that the BTS leader will be releasing his album this month, likely on November 25.
Since the news didn’t come from the singer’s agency BigHit Music, the fans were wary of the news. But soon after the music label also gave a brief comment that – “RM is planning to release his solo album. He is currently working on it.” Since then the ARMYs have been flooding the social networking site Twitter with their excitement for the upcoming album.
Recently the BTS Leader was seen taking the stage at W Korea’s Love Your W 2022 Event, where he performed his latest collaboration with Balming Tiger, titled ‘Sexy Nukim‘. Another BTS member J-Hope was seen with him at the event, who enthusiastically recorded his bandmate, dancing on the stage in a black turtle neck fit.
In his last live on Weverse on July 21, BTS’ RM mentioned the overall themes of his upcoming album. He shared that it would be based on his experiences when he was 28 or 29 years old. In another Instagram story posted recently, he shared that the album will be all about his twenties from 2019 to 2022.
Kim Namjoon released his first solo mixtape, RM, in 2015. In 2018, he released his second mixtape, Mono, which peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard 200 and became the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in chart history. He referred to it as a playlist, which should be listened to in that particular order and essentially told his story and what he felt in his mid-20s.
Mono included songs like Seoul, moonchild, uhgood, everythingoes, tokyo, forever rain and badbye – all of which are fairly popular among the fans and admired for his honest feelings expressed in the lyrics. Well known for his lyrical and musical talent, ‘RM3 is coming’ has been trending on Twitter, ever since the solo project was confirmed.
