Korean Pop fans are truly surprised and excited as the prolific band BTS teases another original soundtrack for the 3D animated film Bastions. The film is set to release next month and will feature the band only in sound and not in the animated film per se. A video teasing what the song is going to be like was released by the official YouTube channel designated for the film.
In this, the characters are seen for the first time against a futuristic background. The animation style is quite interesting, and the setting makes it seem like it took inspiration from Cyberpunk. The film will focus largely on a newcomer to this world where the popularity contest is fierce, and there are only a few people who can save the planet. Because of all the pollution and human intervention in the natural cycle, the Earth is fighting a losing battle. If things don’t change soon, they may all die.

This collaboration is one of the first for the industry. While the topic of environmental pollution is quite hot, this film tries to amalgamate this idea with a worldview where heroes are not made but are made. The video shows these characters in this futuristic world enjoying the superpowers they have been given, traversing across buildings and breathing the air of this city. What is more impressive is that the animators have made the characters dance in this sequence, parallel to the dance style BTS emulates in most of their music videos.
The band BTS officially debuted in 2013, featuring seven members, including Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Jin, RM, Suga and J-Hope. While the first four are vocalists, the latter are official rappers. While the band had been on hiatus for a while, focusing on making solo music and applying for the mandatory military enlistment South Korea requires, this announcement reassures fans that the band may come back together sooner than later.

Taehyung or V has not currently shared any news for new music, but fans are keeping their eyes peeled for the same. Their most recently released album, Proof, is an anthology album that immerses fans into their experiences as a band and together as friends. Also
