Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra is soon to hit the theatres this year. The entire team spent some 7 years in the making of this film. From the casting to the plot, everything is extremely interesting in this movie. Due to the pandemic, the film has struggled with its release date, but finally, it would be releasing on 9th September 2022. Ranbir-Alia Pairing
One of the major reasons why Brahmastra is so much anticipated is because it would be the first time that real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt would be starring as the lead of a film. They happen to be one of the most loved couples on the internet and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch them on screen. Other than them being lovers, Ranbir and Alia both are phenomenal actors and would definitely add a lot of value to the film. Ranbir plays the character of Shiva and Alia plays the character of his love interest Isha.

Brahmastra’s Plot
Ayan Mukherji makes a come back to the movies after 9 long years with his dream project Brahmastra. The plot makes the film even more interesting and worthwhile. As much as we can make out from the teasers, Brahmastra is the first part of a superhero trilogy. It’s a beautiful mix of a superhero story with an Indian mythological touch. The plot revolves around Shiva, played by Ranbir Kapoor and apparently, he is the superhero in the film. The plot seems even more attractive with the VFX that has been used to make this movie look extraordinary. Brahmastra is definitely going to be a visual delight for the audience.
Ayan Mukherji’s Direction
One of the major reasons to look forward to Brahmastra is Ayan Mukherji’s direction. Ye Jawani Hai Deewani turned out to be iconic and we can safely say it has a cult following. Ayan Mukherji’s direction got all the praises for that. The director mentioned in various places how this project is his dream project and how the entire team has given their heart and soul to it. Hence one of the most important reasons to watch Brahmastra would be to witness the magic Ayan Mukherji would create on-screen.
Apart from that, the genre that he has been working on, isn’t very common in Bollywood. There is romance in the film, action, drama, fantasy, adventure and we believe Ayan Mukherji’s expertise would do justice to the film.
