With all the young members of Brahmansh and the Guru of the ashram being safe and sound, the film has a fairly happy ending. Until a mid-credit scene shows what we should be expecting next from the trilogy film series.

In the scene, we see that the statue of Agnidev in which Dev resides is breaking apart, with its parts falling off. And a bright light shines in the middle, where the heart is supposed to be. As all the parts finally drop down, a silhouette of a man is seen. It could only mean that Dev, who wanted to get the Brahmastra, so he could rule the Brahmand, has finally woken.

He was trapped in the statue on the island where he fought with Amrita, the Water Astra and also his wife. But with the conjoinment of all the three pieces of the Brahmastra which got under the control of Shiva, he might have gained his powers back. What he seeks now is under the control of Shiva, so it will be interesting to see how he will take the control back.

Also, in the end, the name of the next film was revealed which is titled, “Brahmastra Part Two: Dev“. It further supports that the next film will be about Dev meeting his son, who also owns the same powers as him and even more now. With the film focusing on his character, we should expect to see his backstory with Amrita.

It might reveal more about Shiva’s powers and there might be some more surprises as well. While the role of Amrita is more or less said to be played by Deepika Padukone, the mystery around the casting for Dev hasn’t been cleared yet. From Ranveer Singh to Hritik Roshan, many have been rumoured to be playing the role but none confirmed yet.

And to add, we did get introduced to Isha as Shiva’s love interest and both build up a connection pretty soon. However, we don’t really get to know about her life and family. She is said to have returned from London and comes from a rich family but who is she really, and her story should also be explored briefly, in the next parts.

Brahmastra Part One Shiva is currently available in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
