South Korean girl group BLACKPINK has once again created waves with Shut Down as they continue to show why they are one of the most prominent K-pop groups in the world. Bagging their 3rd Show Champion win, the girls have given a spectacular performance to fans everywhere.
The ladies took their 3rd win on September 28, 2022, while competing against Crush’s Rush Hour featuring BTS J-Hope, NCT 127’s 2 Baddies NMIXX’s DICE, and ONEUS’s Same Scent.
Other performances on the show include NMIXX, ONEUS, Lapillus, Weki Meki member Choi Yoojung, mimiirose, MAKAMAKA, PRITTI-G, LUMINOUS, We;Na, Kwon Min Je, YEAHSHINE, and Kang Minjae.

After debuting at number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts with their comeback album Born Pink, the group continued their streak with another number 1 on the Billboard Hot100 charts with their title track Shut Down. BLACKPINK has shown everyone, why they are among the most popular K-pop, acts out there and their power is capable of dominating the industry.
Coming back to the album that was released on September 16, 2022; this was BLACKPINK’s comeback after nearly two years and Blinks everywhere is supporting their idols with everything that they’ve got. Breaking records in sales and music charts, the result of this comeback has been massive.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment and consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The group debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single album Square One which consists of the songs Whistle and Boombayah.
The group became the highest-charting female Korean act on the Billboard Top 100 with Ice Cream. They also became the first girl group to achieve more than a million album copy sales of The Album which was released in 2020.
