Who is Bill Burr?
William Fredrick Burr, more dearly known as Bill Burr, is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor hailing from the United States.
He has been the face and brain behind multiple stand-up shows such as Why Do I Do This?, Let It Go, You People Are All The Same, I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, and Paper Tiger, which garnered a nomination for the Best Comedy Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

From writing, voicing, and conceptualizing the main character in the Netflix animated sitcom F is for Family and playing Patrick Kuby on the celebrated show Breaking Bad, Burr has traveled a lot intellectually.
The Standup Review: Bill Burr: Live at Red Rocks
Bill Burr’s first show after the pandemic hit some obvious notes, a little side commentary on anti-vaxxers, questioning the choice of clothing of his audience as a fallout of Covid-19, the hypocrisy of patriots in trusting the government, cancel culture, feminism, and wokeness were a few aspects he delved into. The stand-up felt more like a washed-down version of yellow journalism in the last few months. The topics felt redundant and age-old.
Although there were a few ideas that did structure out of the ordinary, like putting things in a historical perspective, citing examples of Sean Connery and Coco Chanel, and a vivid take on feminism that oddly made sense, it’s still the least you expect out of stand-up.

One wow factor, that might remind the viewers of what Bill Burr is capable of doing, was his recollection of the time when he first tried mushrooms and the ill effects of being raised in a household that doesn’t understand healthy loving relationships. It transitioned into how the ill-fated memories of his past and his ‘I Sorry Daddy’ saying daughter serves as a reminder for him to be better than his dad.
Stream It or Skip It?
Bill Burr’s latest Netflix Special will make you reminisce the veteran’s early style but also make you aware that he tuned some of his historic hits in this as well. With so many comedians rising up and bringing content that amuses the audiences, it is just a matter of time when comedians like Bill Burr will have to religiously amp up their style and delivery to keep their viewers tight.
You will see a lot of rage-fueled commentaries and loud statements, both literally and figuratively in the show, but then again, that is class Bill Burr style. Although, you do have to applaud Burr for his constant swaying away from political correctness, which not a lot of comedians practice in the 21st century anymore.
