Meant to be a gift for the K-pop boy group’s global fans, NCT Dream’s Beatbox English version is set to premiere this March! Since the music act is already out for their second world tour, THE DREAM SHOW2: In A DREAM, which will soon kick off their European and American leg of the tour, the seven members will be first showing this track’s performance on stage.

While the song had already been hinted at earlier, now things have been set in stone officially as the third sub-unit of NCT has now teased the upcoming release further along with an animated cover art. The visuals for the same resemble the previous album art of the eponymous 2nd Album Repackage. Without making any changes, the English version’s replica has simply cartoonified the group pose of the seven members – Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung.
The repackage album, for which Beatbox served as the title track as well, was released in May 2022, whereas, the group managed by SM Entertainment last put out their debut Japanese single album titled Best Friend Ever in February 2023. We’re hoping for this track to deliver us with a brand new music video as well, however, nothing of the sort has been confirmed yet. But, since it’s being released as per the digital format, the new comeback, of sorts, will not be supported by any physical album sales.
As a result, this premiere is definitely a present designed for the fans to enjoy and relish without caring for anything else. In another unfortunate news related to the boy group, SM Entertainment confirmed the news of Jeno having been diagnosed with COVID-19, which has further led to the postponement of their fan meeting event that was scheduled for March 13 and 14.
The youthful septet has already proved its strengths in captivating international and Korean audiences alike. The recently concluded streak of their world tour THE DREAM SHOW2: In A DREAM in Bangkok was completely sold out as they entertained a huge gathering of 35,000 fans in Thailand. For the next step, they’re planning to head over to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 1, 2023, for which ticket sales are set to commence on March 18, 2023.
