In the heart-wrenching Barry Season 4 Finale, the truth unravels the Berkman family, one by one. Sally, burdened by guilt, confides in John about her and Barry’s fugitive status. However, their secret is exposed when Hank cunningly captures Sally and John, holding them hostage as leverage.

Reluctant to take the blame, Hank stands his ground, rejecting the offer outright. The chaos ensues as a deadly shootout erupts within Hank’s headquarters.

Amidst the bullets and bloodshed, survival becomes a thin chance. Miraculously, Fuches, John, and Sally are the sole survivors of the violent ordeal. Just as a heavily armed Barry arrives on the scene. Unexpectedly, Fuches grants him safe passage, allowing Barry to leave with his family.

Jim and the district attorney seize the opportunity to hold a high-profile press conference, announcing the reopening of Janice’s case. In a stunning twist, they publicly accuse Gene, Berkman’s acting mentor, as the primary suspect. The news devastates Sally, and she pleads with Berkman to turn himself in, believing it to be the only path to redemption. However, Berkman, driven by a newfound sense of self-worth, adamantly refuses, asserting that their survival signifies his redemption.
