The series unfolds with Kevin Tapia, an ordinary student residing in a challenging neighbourhood, passionately devoted to skateboarding. Despite his modest background, he finds himself enamoured with Genesis, a girl from a privileged background. The union of Kevin and Genesis brings joy to her family but exacerbates the struggles in Kevin’s life. His father is incarcerated, and his mother, burdened by debt, resorts to selling drugs to make ends meet.
Amidst Kevin’s pursuit of his beloved skating, an unintentional collision with a car belonging to a member of the notorious gang “the Butchers” results in the confiscation of his cherished skateboard. Fueled by a determination to retrieve it, Kevin embarks on a journey to the butcher’s turf. To his surprise, he stumbles upon a mysterious notebook detailing a planned heist. Recognizing the opportunity to address both his financial hardships and personal desires, Kevin takes it upon himself to orchestrate the heist.
This unexpected twist thrusts Kevin into an exhilarating odyssey, challenging societal norms and pushing the boundaries of his own capabilities. Kevin shared the plan with his friend, Panda, and sought assistance from his father to assemble a team. They approached Pantera, a friend of his father, and requested his support. The final step involved acquiring firearms, for which they enlisted the help of Mística, a skilled gun dealer, inviting her to join their team.
How Did Kevin Get Caught by the Police?
After successfully executing the heist, the stolen money was discreetly buried to avoid detection during the ongoing investigation. Kevin and his associates made a pact to refrain from accessing the funds until everything was resolved. However, Génesis, driven by a desire to escape her family situation with Kevin, succumbed to greed. She decided to unearth the money without the group’s knowledge and persuaded Kevin to flee with her.
In the throes of love, Kevin agreed to abandon his friends and family, and they set off to Italy to live a lavish life financed by the stolen money, showcasing their newfound prosperity on social media. Meanwhile, investigators discovered a cutting tool used to breach the security gate but were unable to identify the culprit. Through diligent efforts, they traced Kevin’s connection to the crime via his social media posts and learned about Génesis through her mother’s brief online plea for her missing daughter.
Despite their apparent success in Italy, their extravagant lifestyle caught the attention of criminal elements who kidnapped Génesis. The captors demanded that Kevin surrender all his ill-gotten gains to secure her release. Succumbing to the pressure, Kevin handed over the money. However, upon Génesis’ return, panic set in, prompting her to confide in her mother about their predicament. In a desperate bid to ensure her daughter’s safety, Génesis’s mother suggested cooperating with the police, revealing details about Kevin and the heist to secure her daughter’s freedom.
Genesis decided to cooperate with the police to facilitate the arrest of Kevin. Given that she was pregnant with Kevin’s child and wanted to avoid imprisonment, she assisted the police during their meeting. As a result, law enforcement successfully apprehended Kevin and brought him back to Chile.
Did He and Génesis End Up Together?
When Génesis was about to give birth, Kevin was taken to the hospital as he was the father of the child. However, after seeing the child, Kevin decided to run away from the police. He then revisits an old scrapyard, reminiscent of the days he and Panda spent there. To his surprise, he stumbles upon his long-lost best friend. Panda aids him in concealing his whereabouts and reveals that he has the remaining cash. Kevin discreetly heads to the hospital to reunite with Génesis, who presents him with a photograph of their newborn son.
Filled with determination, Kevin plans to seek financial assistance from Panda, envisioning a new life for himself, Génesis, and their child. Meanwhile, Panther continues meetings with Kevin’s mother, while Mystica covertly joins them in pursuit of Kevin and her share of the money. In a twist of events, Kevin’s mother hints that she may have an idea of his current location.
Pablo, the grandson of Amador, strikes up a friendship with Panda and decides to meet up with him, only to unexpectedly encounter Kevin at the rendezvous. In a desperate move, Pablo falsely claims to his mother that he has been kidnapped by Kevin and promptly shares the location. Amidst the unfolding drama, Panda reluctantly agrees to hand over money to Kevin, but the situation takes a chaotic turn when Mystica, Panther, and Kevin’s mother unexpectedly appear.
Pandemonium ensues as Panda evades capture with Pablo, and Mystica focuses on retrieving the cash, only to discover that it’s mostly counterfeit. The already tense situation escalates when Amador, Natalia, and their associates arrive, triggering a shootout. In a strategic move, Panda detonates rigged bags of fake money, resulting in the downfall of Amador and Panther. Despite the crossfire, Pablo manages to survive. Panther instructs Kevin to make a hasty escape, and he departs with Mystica, leaving behind a scene of turmoil and uncertainty.
As the police arrive, Kevin flees, finding himself back on the unforgiving streets. Panda, overwhelmed by guilt for leading everyone there, decides to surrender. Mystica, despite not obtaining her desired financial gain, embraces newfound freedom to pursue her own desires. Amador, confined to a wheelchair, relinquishes control of the family business to Natalia. Genesis, left to raise her son alone, blames Kevin for abandoning her. The elusive whereabouts of the remaining heist money continue to elude the authorities.
