The date February 23, 2023, is all about ASTRO’s 7th Anniversary since their debut in 2016 with the mini album Spring Up. The entertainment agency Fantagio really won big when all six members of the group – JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Rocky, Moon Bin, Yoon San-ha and MJ – came under its roof to show their artistic talents to the entire world.

Now that the group is completing its seventh year, with some of the members having renewed their contracts (MJ is currently inactive as he’s in the midst of his mandatory military service), this becomes and even greater cause of celebration. And, Chaumet, a luxury jewellery and watchmaking company based in France has taken the reins for the same into its hands to commemorate the unique bond shared by the members.
Eun-woo, who’s widely known as an idol actor in the South Korean entertainment industry and has established his acting career through roles in K-dramas like True Beauty, My ID is Gang Beauty, and the most recent premiere of TVING’s Island and more, had already signed up for Chaumet’s exclusive campaign titled Stories of Liens last year. Now, the campaign comes full circle as he’s paired up with the rest of his group members (minus MJ) to consolidate not only their band’s name, but also their friendship, especially since they’ve all dedicated half of their lives to training for, and then being a part of ASTRO.
The official description of the ‘Liens’ collection reads, “Iconic and meaningful, the Liens collection celebrates the bonds between people. A precious thread that unites two people who love each other, drawing their destiny closer.” Reading these words makes all the more sense as to why the ASTRO members are the perfect pick for this campaign. Capturing the emotional connect shared by them, the high-end brand has gained favour in the eyes of the fans of the group, commonly known as AROHAs.

Even though MJ may be missing from the picture for now, the boys took it upon themselves to include him in this triumphant documentation of their success as artists and a team by tagging his Instagram profile on the post itself. This further made the fans emotional about their united OT6 front that has stood the tests of time and made way for some of the best tunes in their discography that have become an integral part of AROHA’s life.
As far as the group’s comeback activities go, Fantagio formed the music act’s first sub-unit with Moon Bin and San-ha in 2020, and they recently came out with their third EP Incense in January 2023. On the other hand, ASTRO, as a whole, released their third full album, Drive to the Starry Road in May 2022.
