Eunseom soon gains consciousness and understands the situation he is in, however, will meeting Tanya after years of separation make it hard for him to return to the Ago Union?

Meanwhile, Tanya is unaware that the one in front of her is not Saya but Eunseom. Will she find out about Eunseom before he has to leave?

Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

Episode 2 begins with the battle between the two brothers which sees unexpected twists and turns, however, it is Eunseom who takes the final win leaving the Arthdal forces to face the loss of their men and horses. Saya is angered by this outcome while Eunseom celebrates but can’t stop thinking about Saya whose face looks like him.

Elsewhere, Tagon finds out about the problems created among the people due to Tanya’s move of feeding the slaves three meals a day. He also sees the faith of the temple which has entered his council as well as his trusted aides. Meanwhile, Taealha captures Yeolson to find the secret of the iron only to later be confronted with Tagon and Tanya to have him released.

Taealha reluctantly agrees to this, however, Tanya understands that she has been used as Taealha already found out the secret of the iron. Later, Yeolsom promises his loyalty to Tagon while Tanya is surprised by the greed for power that she sees in her father. She also finds out that her father has decided to abandon Eunseom while he fights for Wahan.

Meanwhile, Eunseom also finds out about the changes among the Wahan tribesmen and is asked to give up on them by his dying subordinate. The next day, Tagon confronts Tanya about the issue of feeding the slaves and orders her that she will not be doing so anymore.

However, Tanya refuses and trades jars of gold and grain for the right to handle the matter. Elsewhere, Mubaek arranges a meeting between the two brothers, unaware that Saya has other plans. Soon, the brothers meet while Mubaek stays away until they familiarise themselves with each other.

Eunseom asks Saya to join the Ago Union as he is aware of his ambitions but soon realises that he is too impatient and tells Saya about his real name. However, before he gets to reveal Saya’s name, the Shahiti children sent by Taealha arrive to kill Saya only to be suppressed by Eunseom.

Left with no choice, the child burns the place which alerts Mubaek as he rushes to save the brothers. He saves Saya first who is then spotted by Chaeeun and the Neanthals who then take him away. Meanwhile, Mubaek tries to save Eunseom only to be attacked by another Shahiti child and barely manages to save Eunseom on his last breath.

The Arthdal soldiers soon arrive at the scene and grieve for Mubaek while mistaking the unconscious Eunseom to be Saya.
