And it doesn’t take long for the two to come face-to-face following which Eun-seom asks him to join the Ago forces. However, Tagon is ready for what is to come and Taealha’s Shahiti is a hidden danger lurking in Saya’s troops.

Finally, the two brothers get caught up in a fire as dreamed of by Tanya, however, their survival from this disaster will also bring in a big change in the history of Arthdal.

Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

Episode 1 of the season begins with a quick recap of season 1 followed by what happened after Tagon became the king and announced his conquest of the East. Following his announcement, the Arthdal soldiers soon left for war only to come across a hurdle namely the tribes in the East, however, with Tagon stepping into battle, they were soon able to defeat the tribes.

Meanwhile, Eunseom as the Inaishingi is now the biggest hurdle for the Western forces and capturing him is a task. Saya tried to capture him only to fail but managed to find out that the Inaishingi was none other than Eunseom himself. Elsewhere, an assassination attempt is made on Taealha’s son Arok which she blames Saya for.

However, in the past eight years, the relationship between her and Tagon has reached a chilling bottom which has made the latter tired. On the other hand, is Tanya who has been the merciful high priestess living in the hearts of the people and soldiers of Arthdal. However, she too has her own agenda hidden behind which involves building a new nation with Saya and Mubaek as well as Eunseom.

Elsewhere, Saya’s return brings news of Eunseom being the Inaishingi to Tanya as well as his awareness of the fact that their plan will need to be changed due to this. However, Tanya cannot see herself losing any of the two and hopes that the two survive this ordeal. She later sends the Kanmoreu horse Daoyu to Eunseom.

Finally, the day of the troop’s departure arrives and Tanya asks Saya to not kill Eunseom and also return safely. Elsewhere, words of Eunseom’s benevolence are spread as he refuses to loot the cities and brings about hope for a better world. However, they soon find out that there is a traitor hidden amongst themselves when Arthdal troops send a message which contains words that are only known to the important members.

Later, he reunites with Daoyu and finds the necklace he gave Tanya on him. The next day, the battle finally begins and the Ago Union show that even plains can be conquered by them.
