Andor Episode 4 Reactions: Fans Are All For Mon Mothma But, Not the Pacing of the Show

Andor Episode 4 has a lot of things going on, at a conversational level. Fans are surely loving the new characters that are coming in one after the other but, the pacing of the episode seems to be an issue that some are still stuck on. Created by Tony Gilroy, the prequel series to the 2016 Star Wars spin-off Rogue One has Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff and Beau Willimon as the writers for the show.

The show has an ensemble cast that has Diego Luna reprise his role of Cassian Andor aka Kassa along with Kyle Soller as Syril Karn, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Joplin Sibtain as Brasso, James McArdle as Timm Karlo, Rupert Vansittart as Chief Hyne, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Fiona Shaw as Maarva Andor, Alex Ferns as Sergeant Linus Mosk, Gary Beadle as Clem Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Denise Gough as Dedra Meero. The runtime of the fourth episode is 46 minutes.

The latest episode took us through the slow ride of Cassian joining the rebellion and embarking on his first mission. We also have Mon Mothma back on screen and see her involvement with the rebellion. Apart from that, the episode also introduced us to a new character from the side of the Empire that can be a possible ‘Reva’ for this particular series.

One of the viewers tweeted: “An interesting argument. I’ve always thought there was more to Mon Mothma than simply being “leader of the Rebels” ever since learning of her falling out with Saw and her involvement with the NR in Bloodline, I’m very happy we’re exploring her character in Andor.” Clearly, the audience is in love with Mon Mothma’s character and, we heartily are in agreement. Another viewer wrote about the episode: “Just finished Ep4 of #Andor and this show has been so good. This episode was intense and gritty. A lot of things going on but furthering the overall story!” Let us have a look at more such reactions on the episode down below!
