Bigg Boss 20 Episode 38 had not even completely moved on from the nomination damage when the house found itself “witnessing” another “situation”, but a really messy one this time. What began as a playful interaction between Scout and Qazi escalated into a confrontation that brought two entirely different housemates, Gullu and wildcard entrant Nakul Dhull, face-to-face, turning the verbal spat into a physical fight before the other contestants could intervene.
The episode had the elements that a reality show like Bigg Boss thrives on: people taking things personally, conversations travelling through the house, and even housemates jumping into arguments that were not even theirs in the first place.
With Bigg Boss yet to announce the decision on the fight, Episode 38 ended with a central question: what happens when the usual fight crosses the line?
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 38: A Verbal Spat Turns Physical
The messiest part of the physical fight in this episode of Bigg Boss 20 was that the issue was not even related to Gullu and Nakul to begin with; there was no point of confrontation in an ideal situation. The situation, in fact, began with Qazi and Scout having a rather playful moment after the nomination task.
Qazi asked Scout to push him, after which he hugged him and spat into his ear. At that moment, the interaction appeared to be in a spirit of fun, with no immediate indication of a bigger confrontation. Things took a turn when Qazi was later seen explaining the incident to the other housemates in the garden area. He said that he had asked Scout to push him, but the push did not affect him; he then described hugging Scout, biting his ear and spitting into his ear. Nakul Dhull, who was sitting in the garden area, heard the conversation and immediately went inside to inform Scout. Soon, Yung DSA and ScoutOP walked into the garden area to confront Qazi Touqeer about what he had said.
However, the confrontation grew beyond Qazi and Scout, with Gullu and Nakul coming into the picture and the verbal exchange escalating into a physical fight. Other contestants rushed in to separate them before things could get out of hand. Mahhi Vij was particularly agitated during the altercation and was seen hitting Nakul on the back with her hand as the two men were involved in the physical fight. The fans seemed to have noticed the action and questioned the behaviour. She later, with a lot of anger, questioned Nakul, asking whether he had entered the house with the intention of hitting.
The confrontation also took a personal turn with Nakul referring to something from outside the Bigg Boss house involving Gullu. He was seen asking Gullu, “Goa bhaag gaya tha na tu”. The remark hinted at a possible backstory between the two. The physical fight has put the spotlight on both the contestants, and the immediate question is no longer who said what but what Bigg Boss decides to do about the situation.
The promo for the next episode suggests that the show’s decision regarding the altercation is yet to be announced in the upcoming episode!
Aasif Nominates Mahhi, While Qazi Nominates Scout
Before the physical violence took over the episode, the nomination task had already heated things. Continuing from the previous episode, Aasif Khan explained his decision to nominate Mahhi Vij, citing her alleged tendency to talk behind people’s backs and her lack of cooperation during his captaincy as his reasons for nominating her.
Things became somewhat heated when Qazi Touqeer came forward to nominate ScoutOP, which triggered a confrontation, prompting Yung DSA, Manish Goel, Love Gill and other housemates to intervene to calm things down. As the nomination task continued, many housemates felt that Qazi was creating a disturbance.
Mary Kom and Uditi’s Washroom Argument Adds Up
Another disagreement unfolded when Bigg Boss gave the women a washroom break during the task. Mary Kom was standing outside the washroom, waiting for her turn, when she said she would go into the bathroom and throw a mug of water to clean it. Uditi Singh objected it suggesting that Mary Kom could instead use men’s washroom. The exchange caught Amrapali’s attention as well. As Uditi went inside the washroom, Amrapali Dubey took Mary Kom’s side and asked her to use the bathroom itself.
The incident added to the growing tension between the two, particularly because this was not the only disagreement between Mary Kom and Uditi Singh during the episode. Later in the nomination task, Uditi nominated Mary Kom, citing that she had not interacted much with her, and the latter responded by asking Uditi to come and talk. The response agitated Uditi, and a verbal spat followed, which in fact involved other contestants as well.

Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 38: What Happens After the Physical Fight?
The biggest question hanging right now, after the episode, is the decision regarding the physical violence between Gullu and Nakul. The show’s promo suggests that the decision will be revealed in the upcoming episode, leaving the viewers waiting to see how the incident is addressed. The fight also raises questions about how the housemates will behave around one another after such a heated confrontation.
For now, this episode of Bigg Boss 20 has left the housemates with a physical fight to deal with, a series of unresolved nomination disputes and a decision from Bigg Boss that could perhaps change the atmosphere within the Bigg Boss house. The nominations started the drama, but Gullu and Nakul’s fight is what everyone is waiting to hear about, mostly because there is a difference between arguing in the house and getting into a physical altercation with another contestant in a show where physical violence is prohibited, and the next episode is expected to address it.
