Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 6 Recap

This episode once again highlighted Yuki’s playful nature. It starts with Yuki suddenly asking Alya to join her for an important discussion about the student council budget. However, Alya has her own agenda and directly questions Yuki about her feelings towards Kuze. In a teasing manner, Yuki responds that she loves Kuze more than anyone else in the world.

The way she says it hints at romantic love, but we know she means something different. Alya, fired up by this, declares that she won’t let anyone have Kuze. Despite this tension, the situation doesn’t escalate, and instead, Yuki and Alya form an unexpected bond, with Yuki even asking if she can call Alya by her first name from now on.

Meanwhile, back in the council room, we see Masha’s enthusiasm for tea as she serves some to the others. But when Alya returns, still flustered from Yuki’s earlier confession, she starts to act more affectionately towards Kuze, disregarding those around her. Yuki, of course, finds amusement in this, while Kuze suspects that his mischievous sister has orchestrated something.

To smooth things over, Kuze later invites Alya for a meeting to discuss strategies for her upcoming election campaign. Alya, however, mistakes this for a date and expresses her disappointment in Russian. Their interaction is charming, and it includes the classic “indirect kiss” moment when Alya shares her parfait with Kuze. But amidst the flirting, they also manage to discuss some actual strategies for the election.

In this episode, we might see a new addition to the student council association. She will be the one to support Yuki’s run for the position of president for the next term. We do not have much info about her but she can be a strong contender who can pose a threat to Alya and Kuze. However, Kuze will not go down without a fight.
