Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 4 Review

This episode was a delightful mix of comedy and suspense. Our protagonist returns from a shopping trip with Masha, only to be hounded by the student council president. The president is eager to recruit Kuze, given his impressive track record and reliability. Kuze was the vice president of the student council in junior high and widely regarded as a prodigy, which leaves many puzzled as to why he isn’t eager to continue his legacy in high school. It seems there may be some deeper, possibly traumatic, reason for his reluctance.
Later, Kuze learns that Alya is on a critical mission—mediating a conflict between the baseball and soccer clubs, both of which are vying for time on the school grounds for important upcoming events. Given that Alya isn’t particularly confident in dealing with people, she seems like an unlikely candidate for this task. Recognizing this, Kuze decides to check out the situation himself.
Initially, he plans to observe and leave without getting involved. But when he overhears Alya quietly asking for help in Russian, he can’t resist stepping in. Kuze comes up with a clever solution that satisfies both teams and manages to calm everyone down. This incident seems to prompt him to reconsider joining the student council, particularly to support Alya in becoming the new president.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 5 Review
Today’s episode had it all. Whatever lanes you want to choose, whatever interests you might have, boobs or armpits, here you can find everything. This episode was one of the most hilarious of this season, and a majority of the credit goes to Yuki. She is not your average Brocon sister, no, she is an absolute riot who doesn’t mind to go on the wincest area if that can serve as her entertainment.
This episode starts pretty seriously with our hero contemplating the meaning behind the words of Alya. Because he had witnessed his parent’s broken marriage, his idea about love is far more realistic than your average high school boy. Hence, he doesn’t want to think seriously about Alya’s confession and considers it a mistake.

But this whole seriousness flies out the window when he walks in on his naked sister, who, mind you, was lying in wait for his arrival. Some might think of this as disgusting, but believe me, these siblings know and treat the whole thing as a joke. This whole interaction between Yuki and Kuze becomes more chaotic when he reveals that he plans to support Alya’s dream of becoming the student council president next year.
But Yuki was not the only good thing about this episode. A very tired Kuze, the next day at school, had the time of his life when he got to witness the armpits of Alya, something that he vehemently appreciates.

Not only that, he checked out both the Kujou sister’s boobs without even them noticing. In the end, we got to see another very interesting female character who is also the vice president and the girlfriend of the current president.
Verdict
Some might find it distasteful how this show uses some anime tropes. But the comedy works every time because the characters themselves are aware of these tropes.

The siblings are indeed very close, a bit too close than your average ones, but it is purely a sibling relationship with fights and ruthless pranks. On the other hand, Alya san is, as usual, one of the most beautiful Tsundere ever who is kind but also mean in her cute way.
