Alchemy of Souls season 2 episode 8 brings Naksu’s return along with heartache for her and Jang Uk as things aren’t looking too good for them. Directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members, the sequel premiered on tvN on December 10, 2022.
Episode 8 has finally brought to us the end of this season of our beloved Alchemy of Souls and this episode has been worth it all. The surge of excitement flowing through us all after this episode cannot be brought out in words but fans are trying their best to let everyone know why this episode has got us screaming.
The episode has brought back the deadly Naksu who wants revenge, however, it also brings the Naksu who has loved Jang Uk a lot. As she struggles through the pain of killing him three years back and also not being able to be with him even now, we couldn’t help crying at her fate that is filled with pain.
On the other hand, fans also can’t help but feel their hearts break for Jang Uk who is unable to understand why Naksu is trying to leave him and is now left waiting while wondering who is the man that is loved so dearly by Naksu.
The change in Naksu’s gaze after regaining her memories has fans cheering as she is ready to show everyone who the real queen here is. Meanwhile, fans are also unable to get over the intense scene she shared with Jang Uk at the beginning of the episode that has us all sweating profusely.
While Naksu and Jang Uk are standing out, as usual, a new character has got fans talking- the turtle. Yes, the same turtle that Naksu has Go Won save is now guiding the ones who have lost direction to find their way. And because no hint can be passed off easily, fans can’t help thinking if this turtle has a bigger role than we had thought.
Finally, the preview for the upcoming episode is what has got us all intensely discussing the show because those scenes and the way this episode has ended have us anticipating the finale weekend. And there is no way of escaping this other than waiting for what is to come on January 7, 2023.
