Alchemy of Souls Episode 6 Witnesses Rise in Ratings, Read to Know More

Alchemy of Souls Episode 6 enjoyed a rise in rating according to Neilson Korea. The show has been enjoyed by many since its premiere on June 18, 2022, and the number of viewers has kept growing since then. This historical fantasy Kdrama has interested fans with its unique storyline, wonderful cast, and amazing creators. The 20 episodes show has taken over the 9 PM timeslot on tvN that was previously occupied by Our Blues.

As reported by Soompi earlier today Alchemy of Souls Episode 6 saw a significant rise in viewership, scoring an average nationwide rating of 6.6 percent. It was also reported that JTBC’s Cleaning Up and KBS 2TV’s It’s Beautiful Now also enjoyed a rise in viewership, with the latter maintaining the position of the most-watched program on Sunday with an average nationwide rating of 23.1 percent.

Alchemy of Souls is set in the imaginary world of Daeho. The story revolves around young magicians who are to carry the burden of the past. Starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, and Hwang Min-hyun, the Kdrama is directed by Park Joon-hwa and written by the Hong sisters- Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran.

The show is focused on the lives of the protagonists Jang Uk and Mu-deok (Naksu) who are unknowingly tangled by fate be it the past or the present. The two are brought closer through their journey of self-discovery, revenge and magic, but the revelation of an unknown past can change everything in their lives forever.

The fast-paced plot which intrigues viewers after every episode has been one of the main factors in the rise of its popularity. The show is definitely worth the watch and for a world that is different from the Kdramas that are ongoing currently. The series is bringing a stream of freshness to this genre and we are loving it!
