Alchemy of Souls: Our 5 Favourite Moments From the Korean Drama

Alchemy of Souls is among the top ongoing Kdramas at the moment and it is definitely deserving of this spot with its amazing plot and cast. Starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, alongside other cast members. This tvN series is rising in the rating game and has been wowing the audience since episode 1. This drama has got everything it needs to make it a must-watch, but what really stands out are some moments that leave us speechless.

As the series slowly moves towards its season finale, the popularity is this show is rising while fans are coming up with theories and hoping for a happy season finale. But there is also the excitement of what is to come in the next season because we all know that this show builds up excitement like no other.

So while we move towards the end, let us recount 5 special moments in the show that left us shocked, wowed, or made our hearts flutter.

5 Favourite Moments from Alchemy of Souls

Drunk Mu-deok

When the student doesn’t listen then the master needs to let loose, even though she doesn’t always let loose purposely. After getting drunk (thanks to the crown prince), Mu-deok lets go of everything that she has kept in her heart. The insecurity, the inferiority, everything that she feels in this body is out which makes realisation dawn upon Jang Uk.

This is one of my favourites because she is no longer the strict master, and her words change Jang Uk for the better. What makes this even better is her falling on Seo Yul, that moment was funny but beautiful.

The Love Birds

One of the best couples on this show has to be Park Jin and Kim Do-ju. Their bickering and understanding of each other’s unrequited love brings them close but also makes them unaware of each other’s feelings. Every moment that these two share is precious and with master Lee entering the picture it has gone to the next level in comedy.

Real Mu-deok

You will be lying if you said that the real identity of Mu-deok did not shock you. If seeing her during Jang Uk’s failed soul shifting was not enough, her identity as Jin Bu-yeon really pushed us off our chairs! The genius who was the beloved daughter of Jin Ho-kyung and could control the power of the sky became the new body for Naksu who is the daughter of a constellation mage. Talk about coincidences.

We already know that the real Jin Bu-yeon will be back one day and that will shake this show to the core, and we are waiting for that day.

The latest episode of Alchemy of Souls has brought us one of the biggest revelations and there is no doubt that this has shocked every viewer out there. Who would have expected that the reason why master Lee could identify Mu-deok’s soul shifter identity was that he himself is a soul shifter? And thus began a series of theories among fans who now speculate that he might as well be master Seo Gyeong.

Jang Uk Kisses Mu-deok

We know that everyone was waiting for this moment and when we finally got it, there were fireworks. Jang Uk finally kissing Mu-deok is definitely a fan favourite moment and this cannot be neglected from this list. We might as well call this the best moment in this show, but there are episodes that are yet to come so we cannot give it this title yet.

I hope that things keep getting better between these two because we really want a happy ending for this pair.
