Who killed Olivia?

No one – she orchestrated this entire thing in order for her friends and family to work out how her husband Carlos and Doña Cristina were working together in order to run a baby trafficking racket. Instead of going to the cops, she made up this little ruse because this is something that she enjoyed, and she wanted to deliver one last spectacle before she died.

Why did Olivia kill herself?

Olivia killed herself because she was suffering from cancer and thus didn’t want to live long enough for her close friends and family to see her in pain. On top of that, she knew that if she didn’t die, there would be no investigation behind her death, and the truth would never come out.

Who is Naram?

Olivia’s daughter Eliza was adopted when she was a baby. However, there is a secret to this that Olivia got to know too late – Eliza was actually taken from her biological mother without her consent, and Naram is actually Eliza’s biological uncle. Naram had, at first, wanted to take revenge on Olivia for taking her niece away, but upon meeting her, he realised that she didn’t know the truth, and they teamed up to bring Carlos to justice.

Why did Doña Cristina shoot Naram?

Christina remembered Naram from the time he came to the hospital to admit his pregnant sister. She wanted to get rid of Naram because she was unsure whether he recognised her or not, and thus used the secret passage in Naram’s room to get in quietly and then shot him thrice. Fortunately, she missed all three times.

What happened in the end?

In the end, Agatha pays respect to Olivia and Eliza at the beach where they are buried and then faces Figue to ask him about the morphine that was found in Olivia’s blood. It turns out that Olivia forced him to give her morphine for the pain of chemotherapy, which helped her to commit suicide as well.

She leveraged a secret from his past to get him to do his bidding – when Figue was young and working for Carlos, he accidentally killed a pregnant woman while performing a C-section on her due to being intoxicated, and Carlos tried to buy him off. Although he refuses to accept it at first, Olivia forces him to take the money and use it to do some good but eventually uses the information to her benefit.

When Magallon arrives at the scene, he gets Doña Cristina, but they try to escape. Fortunately, Olivia had instructed to install another bomb (other than the one on the phone tower that destroyed the communication) on the yacht, which eventually helped in arresting both suspects.

A Deadly Invitation is streaming on Netflix.
