A Christmas Mystery Ending Explained

From what we know after watching the film, Kenny’s father Geroge Bottom gets arrested by the Police, after they find shady activity in the CCTV camera. The cops believe that George stole the prestigious jingle bell, and hid it somewhere else.

However, Kenny’s best friend Violet, believes that George is completely innocent of the act, and thereby starts her own separate investigation. Initially, she receives little support from everybody, when she wrongfully accuses Glen, the principal of stealing the bells. However, when the elder sibling starts to gain some evidence, they finally help her in the process.

During one of her conversations with George, she learns that the white sneaker in the CCTV Video footage doesn’t belong to him. This hard-hitting clue makes her strive hard, and inch closer to the real truth.

Eventually, Violet learns that the shoes belonged to deputy officer Terry, the son of the Mayor. Moreover, she also finds out the motive behind the act, which was a way to get back at George and settle some scores. However, without any physical proof, it would have been hard to convince her dad.

Therefore, the pair of siblings trap the deputy officer, using the tunnel map found inside his car, and record the proof in their personal devices. In the end, Violet submits the evidence to the Sheriff, her dad, and brings back the prosperity of the Jingle Bells.
