What happens after Se-gye and Seo-ri agreed to work together?

Se-gye then gives water to Seo-ri so that she can use it to heal her slap wound. Here, they get into their usual argument, but we also get to witness an apparent attraction grow between them. Se-gye goes into complete denial, and he even asks his secretary about it. On the other hand, Seo-ri gets told that maybe Se-gye is his fan and that is why he is helping her out like this.

Do Se-gye and Seo-ri meet again?

Seo-ri finds the puppy which she was interacting with in the previous episode. She takes it upon herself to care for the dog, and when she gets summoned to the police station, she brings the puppy with her. This time, Se-gye also comes to save Seo-ri and Seo-ri very skillfully hands over the puppy to him. She reasons that the puppy will not be able to live comfortably with her. Though Se-gye indirectly agrees, he’s actually allergic to dogs.

What happens in Seo-ri’s career?

Seo-ri finally signs a contract with Se-gye’s company and becomes their signed artist. She also gets her first project, where she will have to act. To do a good job, she starts to research many TV series as well. This scene was hilarious because Seo-ri starts to recreate many of the iconic scenes. After that, Seo-ri decides to write a letter for Se-gye so that she can show her appreciation to him.

What happens after Se-gye receives Seo-ri’s letter?

When Se-gye receives Seo-ri’s letter, he is visibly shaken. This is because even though he is elated, he refuses to show it on his face. When he goes home, he even painstakingly translates the Hanja into the modern Korean alphabet. Then, he mistakenly reads “my fan” as “my man.” This gives him a false hope that Seo-ri is actually in love with him.

Did the light-hearted tone remain till the end?

The light-hearted tone did not stay till the end as things became quite serious. Seo-ri gets into a scuffle with Se-gye and his grandfather because of her grandmother’s shop. On the other hand, Seo-ri also realises that Se-gye helped her in the beginning because he pitied her. Plus, Moon-do visits her out of nowhere to tell her that if she gets into a romantic relationship with Se-gye, he will help her out. Then we see that this was the same thing the king said to Seo-ri in her past life.

What worked and what did not work?

Throughout this episode, the romance part works very well because Se-gye’s journey to falling in love is believable. He also showcases his fondness for Seo-ri in an endearing way. But the last bit, where he kind of confesses to her, is the highlight of this episode. Though Seo-ri might not feel the same for Se-gye right now, she will also reciprocate eventually.
