Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 9 Recap

In this story, a lot of things happen. Nam-soon gives Shi-o’s computer to Hee-sik. At the same time, Geum-ju finds out her father is coming to Korea while Joong-gan spends time with Jun-hee, not knowing what’s going on. Nam-in takes another pill and starts seeing things that aren’t there. Meanwhile, Shi-o thinks about his past while he’s punching a bag, and we learn he is an orphan who was trained by Pavel, a Russian Mafia group.

The next day, Geum-ju goes to the hospital to visit Hwa-ja after she hears about what happened. She tells Hwa-ja that if she lives an honest life, she can be like a daughter to her. This makes Hwa-ja feel guilty. In the office, Shi-o gets really angry and stabs his bodyguard in the leg because he didn’t catch the person who stole his computer. When he finds out the thief is about the same height as Tsegseg/Nam-soon, he gets suspicious.

The police look at what’s on Shi-o’s computer but only find pictures of two small children and they don’t find any evidence of fraud. When Nam-soon hears about this, she tries to get close to one of her colleagues to learn more about international parties. Nam-in starts drinking lots of water and doesn’t want to eat. Shi-o goes to see Hwa-ja and asks if Tsegseg is really Nam-soon because she tried to stab her. To everyone’s surprise, Hwa-ja lies and says Tsegseg is not Nam-soon, and she tried to stab her because she was disrespectful. Shi-o believes her and leaves.

The next day, Shi-o takes Tsegseg/Nam-soon to a meeting with Geum-ju at the Heritage Club. Geum-ju brings Hee-sik with her, pretending he’s Jamie Choi. While Geum-ju talks to Shi-o, Hee-sik plants a device in an important meeting hall. During their conversation, Geum-ju mentions Pavel, which makes Shi-o really upset. Nam-soon cuts the conversation short and pretends to be on Shi-o’s side. The meeting ends, and Shi-o tells Tsegseg/Nam-soon that he wants to kill Geum-ju.

On the same day, Joong-gan gets an award, but her day gets ruined when she finds out her husband is coming back. At home, Nam-soon argues with Geum-ju, saying that Shi-o is too dangerous and she shouldn’t talk so hastily. Joong-gan decides to pick up her husband from the airport when he arrives. The next day, Geum-ju shows Song Bread a photo of Shi-o in Russia, which makes him angry, and he kicks her out of the office.

At the same time, Shi-o calls someone and says he needs to kill someone. Hee-sik’s boss, Dong-suk, doesn’t answer his call because he’s busy with drugs. Bong-jo finds Nam-in collapsed in the bathroom because of the drugs he took. Shi-o calls Tsegseg/Nam-soon to his office and asks if she can kill Geum-ju. When he looks at her surprised face, he says there’s no need because Geum-ju is already dead. The scene shifts showing Geum-ju in a bloody car accident.
