During the search they learn that the killer is a Mujin resident who owns a green rain poncho and a designed knife. However, almost all the residents own similar ponchos and knife, making it hard for Jang-yeol.

When Ye-boon handles a pet dog, she finds a corpse in the dog’s memory. She rushes to the seashore and indeed finds the decomposed body of Sia. Police arrive and start their investigation. Jang-yeol talks and interrogates to all those who were last seen with Sia. During his search he learns that the killer behind both Seung-gil and Sia’s murder is the same.

When the residents of Mujin start panicking, they decide to do a town ritual to cleanse their village. Shaman General MacArthur leads the rite one day. Though he is powerless, he fakes like doing the ritual. However, his power returns and his body gets possessed by Seung-gil and Sia’s souls. He starts talking like them and hints that the killer is present before collapsing. Jang-yeol looks at the gathering and become cautious.
