The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 8 Recap

Ha-na and Gelly’s fight is intercepted by Pil-gwang who is ready to kill them both and take their powers when the former uses her psychokinesis to get herself and Do-hwi out of there. The Counters soon arrive to save them and Mae-ok heals Do-hwi after which Ha-na makes the choice to erase every memory of herself from his mind.

Later, she tells the counters about how the evil spirit’s hideout looks and So Mun and Jong-beok begin looking around hotels. Meanwhile, Lim Jae-youl tricks Mae-ok and sends her off to the goons whom Chung-jae hired to reel Mo-tak into their trap. However, they are soon suppressed by Mo-tak and Mae-ok who now make use of this opportunity to find Chung-jae.

Ju-seok too finds out about Chung-jae’s location and arrives to kill him when Mo-tak and Mae-ok intercept him. Ju-seok and Mo-tak get into a fight which gives Chung-jae a chance to escape. Frustrated by this, Ju-seok decides to kill the Counters with Pil-gwang’s help.

They lure the Counters to Pil-gwang’s hideout which is located at a great height where the territory can’t reach. The realisation hits them too late and the two begin attacking the Counters. However, seeing So Mun suppressed by the evil spirits, the Counters work together to bring the two down.

Right then, Gelly arrives and causes So Mun to lose his memories of his rebirth and his powers which shocks everyone, including Pil-gwang.
