Gelly understands that he wants their powers while Pil-gwang continues his work of finishing the two off. He then notices Do-hwi and moves towards him when Ha-na uses her psychokinesis and escapes from there. The Counters soon arrive at Ha-na’s rescue and Mae-ok saves Do-hwi.

Ha-na then tells them that she looked into Gelly’s memories and found their hideout to be a clean tidy place like a hotel or a resort. However, what she does not know is that Gelly too looked into her memories and found out that went through a rebirth back when she was in a coma.

Meanwhile, So Mun and Jong-beok begin their mission to search for the hideout while Chung-jae tells Lim Jae-youl (the man Mae-ok saved) to trick the woman. Hesitant to do as said, Jae-youl is surprised to find Mae-ok at his house. She helps him prepare for his grandmother’s death anniversary after which he gives her sleeping pills and takes her to the goons hired by Chung-jae.

Mae-ok is shocked by this but does not panic, instead, she calls Mo-tak to the locations as asked by the goons. Mo-tak arrives soon and handles the goons along with Mae-ok; then seeing this as a chance to get to Chung-jae, they make use of the goons. However, Ju-seok has also gotten information about Chung-jae’s location through Jae-youl and heads there.

Ju-seok reaches Chung-jae first and reaches out to kill him when he is intercepted by Mo-tak and Mae-ok. Ju-seok and Mo-tak get into a fight while Mae-ok tries to take Chung-jae as far away from Ju-seok as possible. However, Ju-seok is not easy to handle and soon catches up to the two.

Mo-tak once again intercepts him and gets into a fight with Ju-seok during which Chung-jae escapes, leaving behind a frustrated Ju-seok. He then turns to Pil-hwang and decides that he will now work towards getting rid of the Counters so that they don’t get in his way again. Meanwhile, the Cpunters are glad that Ju-seok is yet to turn around and kill everyone when Mo-tak tells them that his increased rage will only take away his sanity.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 8 Review

Another weekend comes to an end and there is no doubt that this season is only getting better every week. The excitement is only increasing each week and there is no way we aren’t loving the suspense that every episode is bringing to us.

Episode 8 has brought us some sad moments with beautiful memories being wiped away while showing us how important these very memories have been for many. The ups and downs of this episode were really something and we know for sure that Gelly has completely lost it and this has resulted in both sides losing something.

However, the look on Ju-seok’s face when So Mun was hurt shows us hope for something changing inside him and I hope that he doesn’t remain evil for long. Altogether, this was yet another spectacular episode and we are ready for more!
