Tomo-chan Is a Girl Episode 10 Review and Recap – A Bond Like No Other

Another hilarious episode of Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is here, and we are back again with its review. This episode starts with a marathon race in Tomo’s school, where she and Jun appear visibly happy. Even though Tomo is a girl, she stands with Jun in the boy’s line, and hilariously, Misuzu and Carol realise that but don’t say anything.
The race begins, and Tomo, along with Jun, is nowhere to be seen as they run ahead of everyone. Tomo is especially excited about this match as she accepts that Jun can no longer enjoy his karate fights with her because he has become stronger, so at least here, they can fight equally.
We also see Misaki senpai running in the marathon, but then he sees Jun and Tomo beating him and running way ahead, making him reflect on how he needs to work on himself more.
The match between our two protagonists was going pretty well, but suddenly, Tomo trips and falls and Jun discovers that she is having a raging fever. Apparently, last night, she went for a run and ran for many hours and then took a bath, automatically catching a cold. Jun graciously carries her to the infirmary, and Tomo wakes up to a scared Misuzu and a sleeping Carol.
Her friends then advise her on how she needs to take advantage of a situation that doesn’t occur as often. So now that she is sick, she should act like a sick person. Tomo, thus, asks Jun to carry her, and a sweet yet embarrassing moment ensues where both accept how much they have grown physically.

This episode exposed why Jun went and made Misuzu his first girlfriend and also revealed his past mishappenings. We now understand that he was doing all those things so that he could talk to Tomo properly without others disturbing her and thinking that they were going out. But Tomo rightly tells him not to think of such nonsensical things as their relationship does not depend on others.
Verdict
This episode had very few comedy elements but a lot more romantic parts. We finally know how Jun feels about Tomo, as by the end of the episode, he accepts that Tomo is cute. Now, we need to see what happens in the next episode and how their relationship will turn out to be. Watch this anime on Crunchyroll.
