Love at First Kiss or Eres tú is the latest Spanish film that premiered on March 3, 2023, on Netflix. The movie is directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa and written by Cristóbal Garrido alongside Adolfo Valor. The plot surrounds a man desperately searching for love and finds it in the unlikeliest place.
The film consists of an ensemble cast of Gorka Otxoa, Álvaro Cervantes, Silvia Alonso, Pilar Castro, Susana Abaitua, Elisabeth Larena, Ninton Sánchez, Paula Muñoz, Fabia Castro and more. Antonio Asensio and Paloma Molina produce the romantic comedy under the production banner Zeta Studios. Sergi Gallardo is the cinematographer, and Ivan Palomares gives the music.

Javier and Lucia started dating in the movie’s first half, and their relationship was going well. They were compatible and enjoyed being in each other’s company until things started to fall apart. Since Javier already saw the vision of how their entire relationship would turn out to be, it started to become very predictable. Lucia would try her hardest to keep the relationship alive, but she constantly failed to keep it exciting.

Lucia decided to take a trip alone with her friend. She discovered her true feelings on the trip and began to look at things differently. Meanwhile, Javier started to develop feelings for Ariana, and they grew closer to each other. One day he impulsively tried to kiss her, which ended up straining their relationship. Ariana was left confused by his action since he was still in a relationship, but she also could not deny her growing feelings for him.
Subsequently, Javier accidentally met his ex-best friend Roberto (Lucia’s ex-boyfriend), and they patched things up after a heartfelt conversation. He set up a casual meeting with him and also invited Lucia but ended up intentionally cancelling. He did so because he wanted Lucia and Roberto to spend quality time with each other alone.

Lucia and Roberto instantly started to reconnect. While they were engrossed in their conversation, Javier looked at them from outside the cafe. He was happy and satisfied that the old lovers found their way to each other again. Fast forward to post a few months, Lucia and Roberto were seen together at the success party held by the author.
Did Javier and Ariana end up together?
At the party, Ariana was also present as she was one of the main supporters during the author’s dire days. She tried to leave the party early, but Javier saw her at the right moment. He called her out, and they talked for a while, during which she revealed that she never went to Australia like she originally planned and decided to stay back in Madrid, after which she left the celebration. Javier followed her outside, and they shared a passionate kiss.
