FUBAR Teaser: Arnold Schwarzenegger is Going Back to His Action Roots, Watch the First Look!

Setting the scene on fire, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in action for the upcoming Netflix series, FUBAR. Hearing the veteran actor say the words – “I’m back” – goes long back to his Terminator days, that turned him into a household favourite among people of all ages. And with this new Netflix teaser coming out on the platform on February 27, 2023, we’ve certainly come full circle.

A still from the teaser.

The eight-episode long show has been created by Nick Santora (who’s made shows like Reacher and Scorpion) and Skydance Television. We can’t wait to watch the poetic action sequences blast on screen as Schwarzenegger blazes past in full speed after lighting up a cigar in style. The title of the series itself is a slang adopted by the U.S. Military personnel to represent the trauma incurred by the individuals in the process. But, it looks like the series is headed in a different direction with it that isn’t anything solemn, rather built on the path of an action comedy.

His former roles have been centred around him being a gigantic action star, but with this series Schwarzenegger’s going to turn the tide and introduce a new side to his acting persona with this spy comedy. There’s a lot more in store, clearly since this is just the beginning of the series’ promotion era.

Schwarzenegger has been a lot of things in his life and donned even more roles, both on and off screen. Not only is the Austrian and American Terminator actor an action hero, but also a retired bodybuilder, producer, businessman and the former 38th governor of California, and he’s all set to embark on a new journey as this project marks his TV debut. The series will also be starring Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel, Fortune Feimster, Milan Carter, Travis Van Winkle, Gabriel Luna, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris and Fabiana Udenio.

Although not much has revealed as of yet, official sources have outed that the series will pick up on the cross banter shared between a father and a daughter when they realise that they’ve built their relationship on a pillar of lies, and that they’re both CIA agents. The truth comes to light only when they’re paired up for a secret mission, and having each other as partners was the last thing they were expecting in life.
