New Girl

When Jess finds her boyfriend cheating with another woman, she leaves her old apartment and moves in with three guys. The show follows their experiences living with a woman and their lives, careers and struggles. It is a wonderful show about friendship that is hilarious and has brilliantly relevant writing. Modern Family
Following a family with 11 members, this show focuses on the events taking place after the patriarch Jay Pritchett gets married to Gloria, a woman much younger than him. Shot in mockumentary style, the show uses hand-held camera angles and consistently breaks the fourth wall to amplify the comedic timing. Modern Family is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

New Amsterdam
A new medical director is about to come to the New Amsterdam public hospital and he is ready to change things up. Asking, ‘How can I help?’ the characters consistently strive to put their patients ahead of other stresses, including budget cuts and bureaucracy. The Good Place
Following four strangers who died on Earth, the show follows their experiences in the Good Place, where they have reached because of all the good work they have done. However, Eleanor Shellstrop isn’t supposed to be there, so she takes help from her soulmate Chidi Anagonye and tries to become a better person so she can deserve to be there. Anne With An E
An orphan named Anne is going to a new home after being adopted by a couple. However, they had asked for a boy, and Anne was no boy. She reassures them that girls can do anything boys can do and more. Following her struggles with society and her relationship with the women around her, it is a wholesome show showing how even period dramas can be insightful and relevant. Anne With An E is streaming on Netflix.
Superstore
When a new hire Jonah, comes to Cloud 9, a superstore in St. Louis, things become different. The old employees have never seen someone so insufferable as him. But he is here to make things fun and enjoyable. They go through many things, from the bureaucratic system here to squash floor workers to general discontentment, but they try their level best to fight and make the best out of a trashy job. Superstore is currently streaming on Netflix.
Atypical
This show follows a student, Sam, who is on the autism spectrum. During his family dinner, he declares that he is ready for romance. His mother is absolutely against it, while his younger sister is disturbed, and his father is extremely happy to see him become more independent. Mostly the story focuses on Sam, but it does a brilliant job of showing us what happens to people around him and what kind of life they lead. Atypical is currently streaming on Netflix.
