Noise Movie on Netflix: All About the Upcoming Mexican Intense Drama

Noise (Ruido) is an upcoming Mexican movie premiering on Netflix. Directed and written by Natalia Beristain along with Diego Enrique and OsornoAlo Valenzuela, the movie centres around a woman in a desperate search for her daughter, who has been missing for two years.

Maria Ayub, Karla Badillo, Maria Jose Cordova, Rafael Ley and Gabriela Maldonado are the film’s producers. Dariela Ludlow is the cinematographer, and Pablo Chemor gave the music. The movie will have a total runtime of approximately 105 minutes.

Noise Cast

Julieta Egurrola takes up the role of the lead character named, Julia. The other supporting and recurring cast includes Teresa Ruiz as Abril Escobedo, Erick Israel Consuelo as Asistente Fiscal, Arturo Beristáin as Arturo, Alphonso Escobedo as Hombre, Mariana Giménez as Comandanta, Mauricio Calderon Mora as Secretario Cassandra and Adrian Vazquez as Fiscal Zamudio Rodriguez.

Noise Plot/Synopsis

The official Netflix description of the series reads as follows:

A search for her missing daughter leads a mother to a support network, where she bonds with other women whose lives have been destroyed by violence.

Julia is a mother searching for her daughter, who has been among many victims of violent crimes. In her journey, she discovers many things and finds herself in a community of women who are going through similar instances. She meets a lot of families whose lives have been shattered because of the widespread violence against women. Forming an unlikely connection and bond with the other victims, she keeps searching for her beloved daughter Ger.

In her search, she will weave the stories and struggles of the different women she will meet. Her journey will also become a source of strength for other women, and together they will rise against the injustices.

In the trailer, an overview of the movie shows where the lead character is found in distress due to being unsuccessful in her objective. She finds herself in a dismaying situation where all hopes seem to fade away. But it is also shown that the victims’ families stand together with Julia and demand the administration for answers and quick action. The journey of a mother and her fight against society is the movie’s main theme.

Noise is set to release on January 11, 2023, on Netflix.
