Mission Majnu Trailer: Sidharth Malhotra Will Evoke the Patriotic Spirit in You

Mission Majnu is an upcoming spy-thriller movie starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the movie’s plot surrounds the untold story of India’s greatest covert operation during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

The supporting and recurring cast includes Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, Parmeet Sethi, Kartik Srivastava and more. Parveez Sheikh, Aseem Arrora and Sumit Batheja have the writing credits, and Bijitesh De is the cinematographer. Tanishk Bagchi
Rochak Kohli, Arko Pravo Mukherjee and Ketan Sodha gave the music.

The two-minute-long trailer gave us an overview of what the movie will be about. The clip opens by introducing the main character Majnu, an Indian spy. The agent is sent to Pakistan to complete an important mission where the main objective is to stop them from creating illegal nuclear weapons. He disguises himself as a tailor to infiltrate the facility and access valuable information.

However, in the process, he also marries a Pakistani woman as a cover for the operation but ends up falling in love with her. His seniors remind him that he is on a mission to avoid distractions. A rift between the couple is created when the secrets start to increase.

Further, into the trailer, it is also shown how scientists from different countries are helping Pakistan to create illegal weapons. The Indian officials named the operation Mission Majnu. The agent is met with many problems during his mission, leading him to make rash decisions. Heavy action sequences are also shown in the clip.

The movie is inspired by true events during the 1970s and will mainly showcase the brewing tension between the two neighbouring countries. Along with entertainment, the movie is also expected to be informative to the audience. A sense of love for one’s motherland is bound to be induced. The background score of the movie also seems to be promising.

After Shershaah, it looks like Sidharth is all set to give another big patriotic story for the audience to rejoice.
