My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7 Review- Teacher’s Day

Endeavor My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7

In a show which is based around superpowered children being in schools and in a world that requires these children to grow up much faster than anticipated, the roles of teachers in every segment of the show can’t be overstated. Whether it is a kindergarten teacher like Fuyumi, or the #1 Hero taking three internship students under his wing and teaching them all he can in the limited time that they have, as with Endeavor and 1-A, Heroes are helped by their teachers every step of the way. The latest episode was another showcase of how important teachers are in this show.

Look anywhere, and you will find people who Deku or one of his friends have been taught by in this battle against evil. There’s Cementoss, Gran Torino, Midnight, Present Mic, Endeavor, and of course, someone who has been essential to the little success that this operation did see- Eraserhead. Everyone I mentioned and even some people I didn’t but would be included in this list got a major spotlight in My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7.

Midnight My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7

Not only were these people included, but they were referred to constantly as the major force behind helping characters like our main trio and the rest of UA High be good enough to help out in situations such as this. Eraserhead has been extraordinarily helpful in this operation, and My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7 showcased the other teachers’ roles in a situation as dire as this one. From inspiring their students and saving their lives to being at the forefront of the attack on both fronts, the usually underrepresented profession got a lot of well-deserved attention in this episode.

There was a lot of action in My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7 as Shigaraki and Gigantomachia have both started to take on multiple Heroes each, displaying just how strong they are compared to even the top-ranked heroes. The battle becomes more desperate for the Heroes in each episode, and there seems to be no way out of this except to wait for some miracle to help them subdue Tomura. The direr the situation becomes, the easier it is for the writers to turn up the tension in the show, which is great.

There is something to be said about how well this entire arc is written when one puts the events from Season 5 in perspective, but I’ll discuss that more in a later review when we know more about how this arc is going to end. The production of the show remains fantastic, but there is something to be said about a show, whose strong points in music have always been the hopeful and triumphant tracks, being dark and dire enough not to have an opportunity to use them in the show anymore. I am eagerly waiting for the day we can hear “You Say Run” again, and it will be glorious whenever it happens.

Verdict

My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 7 was another fantastic episode that built up on the elements set up in Season 5 to reward long-time viewers of the show and delivered plenty of high-impact moments to bring the plot forward.
