Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Episode 13 Review- Fresh Start

Injury Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Episode 13 was a great end to the series and tied up many loose ends to make for a fitting and promising finale.

This episode could have been anything, and it wouldn’t have mattered that much in the grand scheme of things. It could have been generic filler, a slice of life nothing, or an entirely musical episode the likes of English comedies, and it wouldn’t have changed the outcome of this season. The previous episode was the definitive end to this season’s festivities, and this one was just an add-on to tie the entire story together with some plot exposure and callbacks. For what it was, this episode was a good one that managed to accomplish all of its goals.

The main draw was always going to be to see a broken Ryuuen, whom we saw plenty of in this episode. He was a reliable and hatable antagonist who you loved to see get destroyed by the hands of Ayanokoji, and he was a fantastic punching bag for this season. He was dangerous enough to be believable as a threat to this universe because even if he couldn’t have done much to Ayanokoji in any way, he would be a dangerous enemy in Ayanokoji’s previous goal of taking his class to class 1-A. He was willing to torture an innocent girl while being a high schooler. That’s how far he was willing to go.

Double Date Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Episode 13

His future in the show is uncertain, but I trust the show enough to treat people well now, after a rocky start to both of its seasons. However, he is done being an enemy to Ayanokoji, for he fears him too much to oppose him now. That was the one thing that made a great episode a phenomenal one in the last outing, and I hope the show makes this action permanent for the later seasons. This is too good of a development to go back on and one that the show spent too much to earn to give away now.

This episode had a very casual feel, too, as much of it was spent celebrating a Christmas after the heavy events that preceded it. It was a nice change of pace and a welcome way to end the series. It allowed for time to focus on storylines different from class warfare, namely the love story that couldn’t be in Ayanokoji-Sato, and the love story that should be in Ayanokoji-Kei. The way the show mixed the two storylines was great and made the entire situation have a lot of weight.

We have officially reached the end of the season with this episode, and it ended things in a way that made one ache for more. Now that Class 1-C is almost taken care of, seeing Ayanokoji, the psychopath, take down 1-B and 1-A in the same way is must-watch television. He also had a great character arc throughout this season, which is to say that he had none, which was perfectly fine. He remains a sociopath, psychopath, and every under people-hating disorder under the sun, which is why we love him. Always stay the same, Ayanokoji. Or grow, whichever works better for you.

Verdict

Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Episode 13 was a great end to the series and tied up many loose ends to make for a fitting and promising finale.
