After the recently released Good Morning Veronica Season 2, which was received with mixed reviews, the OTT giant is bringing Unsuspicious aka Nada Suspeitos– another Brazilian crime/mystery drama with an investigation at its core. It is directed by Cesar Rodrigues and Eduardo Vaisman and written by Rodrigues along with Leandro Soares. Mayra Lucas is the producer for the series.

Unsuspicious Plot/Synopsis

Netflix’s official description for the upcoming show reads: “Conned by the same playboy, three women and their families go to his mansion to get answers — and must stay for an investigation when he’s found dead.” According to the trailer, everyone is suspected of killing Jorginho Peixoto (the said playboy) and is stuck in the middle of an intense yet funny investigation.

The series belongs to the genres of crime, mystery, comedy as well as a sitcom. Thus, it might turn out to be a black comedy with episodes as long as a sitcom. The OTT platform further describes the show as quirky.
