On the day of the trip, Taehyung, Seo-joon and Peakboy meet and start off the trip to Goseong by road. DJ Taehyung takes his spot as they start talking about miscellaneous things along with the last time they met and how Park Hyung-sik is one of the reasons for this trip. Taehyung then plays some upbeat music which makes Seo-joon and Peakboy remember their younger days while Taehyung points out that this is like an elementary student hanging out with a high schooler.

Peakboy then tells them to stop for food and Taehyung plays the last song which is sung by him- Christmas Song after which the trio stops for food. After a sumptuous Makguksu meal, the trio is attracted by a ringtone and they want to know what tune it is. After some guessing and finding another song, Taehyung remembers it to be Humoresque by Antonin Dvorak and his goofiness makes the two laugh.

Deciding on a steak dinner and cereal for breakfast, the trio go ahead and buy the ingredients needed and anything that catches their eyes. Soon, they head back and after changing into comfortable clothes (not so much for Peakboy), chef Seo-joon begins with dinner preparation. With Seo-joon deciding on clown and Peakboy going with Giant, Taehyung is given the nickname World Star. But scribbling in the front is not enough as they write the nicknames on the back along with their birth year. After a little shoot of the mesmerising chef, they soon begin their hearty dinner and head off to the game room.

After a quick photo session, Taehyung brings out the Go board and they decide on flicking the stones. The first round is between Taehyung and Seo-joon, but after the latter’s victory, the maknae cutely avoids getting punished. However, in his match with Peakboy which he wins, Taehyung gives him a flick on his forehead.

Peakboy is not ready to give up and starts another match with Taehyung which he once again loses in a tragic yet funny way. This time during the punishment, Taehyung is signalled by Seo-joon to slap Peakboy on the forehead instead of flicking which brings another round of laughter for the trio. They begin to get hungry and head for another round of food when their forth friend arrives- Choi Woo-shik.

In the SOOP: Friendcation Episode 1 Final Thoughts

In the SOOP: Friendcation is definitely off to a wonderful start and we are already loving the friendship between the Wooga squad and their love for their maknae Taehyung. Seeing the relaxed side of this group of stars who have stolen our hearts on various occasions is so refreshing and heartwarming makes us sure that this is going to be a top reality show.

In the SOOP has always given us amazing content since its beginning in 2020 and this time too it is bringing some lighthearted and joyful moments of our favourite stars. One of the reasons why this is an amazing show is that the stars are not pressurised by the knowledge of it being a reality show as they are more on a vacation than a show which is pleasing to both fans and the stars.

Finally, the roles that each member of the Wooga squad has taken up will be seen in the later episodes which are also exciting. The father Seo-joon, eldest daughter Peakboy and youngest son Taehyung are already here and now all we are missing are the mother Park Hyung-sik and eldest son Choi Woo-shik who is seen joining the trip at the end of the episode.

We really look forward to the upcoming episode and the revelations that are on the way.
