Ms Marvel Episode 1 Mid-Credit Scene Explained: What is Actor Arian Moayed Doing at the End?

The much anticipated Ms Marvel Episode 1 has aired and it has a classic Marvel touch to its ending with an interesting mid-credit scene. Created by Bisha K. Ali, the episode stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel along with Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli, Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan, Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan, Saagar Shaikh as Aamir Khan and Laurel Marsden as Zoe Zimmer. The first episode is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah and written by Bisha K. Ali with a runtime of 46 minutes.

In the first episode of Ms Marvel, we not only meet Kamala Khan but, also her family and friends. The episode is dedicated to establishing Kamala as a dreamy teenager obsessed with Captain Marvel. She plans to go to the AvengerCon and win the Captain Marvel cosplay competition. However, her strict parents don’t allow her to and, thus, she resorts to sneaking out. We see Kamala gain her superpowers at the AvengerCon when she puts on an old bracelet sent by her grandmother, to give her costume a Pakistani touch.

However, putting on the bracelet in front of so many people might not have been the most ideal thing as we get to see Kamala’s hands shoot out cosmic rays at people, creating a mishap. A few people even get it on camera, which is what brings us to our post-credit scene.

Ms Marvel Episode 1: What Happens During the Mid-Credit Scene?

After the first credits have rolled out with a catchy Hindi song and some quirky visuals in Ms Marvel Episode 1, we see Kamala’s video at the AvengerCon- where she shoots cosmic rays out of her hand to reach a character we have already seen in Spider-Man No Way Home. It is Special Agent P. Clearly from the Department of Damage Control, who sees Kamala’s video and asks his subordinate to bring her in. This is because the powers Kamala flaunts look unlike any other they’ve ever seen. Arian Moayed plays this role.

So, what does this mean for Kamala? Well, in Spider-Man No Way Home, the Department of Damage Control was definitely not an ally to rely on. Thus, it can mean that the creators are going to pose it as the main antagonist in this story with Agent P. Clearly taking a lead to keep Kamala and her powers in check.
