The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Episode 10 Review- The Unknown Villain In The Past

The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody episode 10- old scenery

The previous episode saw a smooth beginning of a school trip go amiss. An unknown being whisked off Ard, Ireena, and Ginny into a strange space, where he informed them that he was a God by their standards, and they needed to go and stop another unknown being from changing the timelines. Yes, this fantasy anime has introduced elements of sci-fi.

Proceeding with this, the trio land in the past when Varvatos was still alive. In The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 10, to have an audience with the king, Ard takes part in the battle and stands out. Despite this being an active battle scene, the most action we get is the characters running around and yelling before the attack (which never takes place). We have begun with an already disappointing start.

I guess either this fantasy world in Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei Suru does not have the concept of time paradoxes, or this is not the original universe to begin with. If it were, Ard would have had the memory of meeting the trio (unless his memory was erased). Another possibility is that this is the past of a parallel universe, different from the one they belong to. Sadly, the self-proclaimed god was not too clear in explaining where the trio were headed.

Lydia’s personality is still wild, and it seems to be getting on Ard’s nerves once again. Lydia was a true friend of Ard, and her death weighs heavy on his mind even after his reincarnation. We get one of the reasons for Ard killing Lydia, and it’s fairly uneventful. With the reason eliminated, will this change the course of history? Or will the events correct themselves, killing Lydia once again?

The animation and dialogues throughout Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei Suru Episode 10 were underwhelming. Though, the plot stands out. The air of mystery and unknown is entertaining, and even though the expectations are pretty low, keeping in mind the show’s history, the villain remains elusive for now.
