Again My Life Episode 16 Recap: It’s Final Showdown!

Again My Life (어게인 마이 라이프) is a 2022 Korean drama featuring Lee Joon-gi, Lee Kyoung-young, Kim Ji-eun and Jung Sang-hoon. It is based on the web novel of the same name written by Lee Hae-nal. This fantasy and mystery-infused Law Kdrama is directed by Han Chul-soo. Again My Life Episode 16 has a runtime of 75 minutes.

In Again My Life Episode 15, Hee-woo knows that he has jumped into a fire pit by challenging Cho Tae-seub on his face. Tae-seub has started playing his games and so has Hee-woo. He hands in his resignation to Jeon Seok-kyu but before quitting, he has a final task to do. He breaks off Cho Tae-seub’s right hand, his secretary Kim Jin-woo. Hee-woo leaks his corruption case to the media and expected Jin-woo to get arrested and charged but instead, Jin-woo committed suicide to prevent the involvement of Tae-seub in his case.

Everyone wondered what Hee-woo would do if he is not a prosecutor but he surprises everyone by standing against Cho Tae-seub in general elections. He is joining the Daehan party led by Hwang Jin-young. Tae-seub appreciates his courage but he wants to avenge the death of Jin-woo. Lee Min-soo gives Tae-seub the list of Hee-woo’s crimes and Tae-seub starts his dirty gameplay. Hee-woo doesn’t reply to the accusation but instead announces his engagement to Kim Hee-ah.

During the engagement announcement, Hee-woo challenges Cho Tae-seub to have a debate with him on live national television. Hee-woo has a bigger plan behind it. He knows that he cannot bring down Tae-seub if he tries to survive. That is why he plans to go down with him. Tae-seub falls to Hee-woo’s challenge and accepts it.

During the debate, both Tae-seub and Hee-woo accuse each other of crimes instead of sharing their policies or visions. Hee-woo goes so far as to bring up the topic of Jin-woo who was dear to Tae-seub. Tae-seub loses his cool and accuses Hee-woo of murdering Jin-woo. The debate ends their and the reporters wait for Tae-seub for answers. At the same time, Director Han goes live on TV and exposes Cho Tae-seub for all his crimes. Tae-seub now has no one by his side.

Tae-seub sends Han’s brother to catch and bring her but this time, Hee-woo beats him with help of Yeon-seok. The hitman gets arrested and Han also surrenders herself to the police as she wants to be the witness in Tae-seubs’s case. She hopes to find a good life after serving her time in prison and Hee-woo promises her to make that happen. After everything goes down, Tae-seub disappears and police find a dead body at the sea, which is allegedly Tae-seub’s.

Hee-woo brings down Tae-seub and treats everyone who helped him in the case. He also announces that he has formally started dating Hee-a, breaking the suspense. However, the world isn’t clean after one devil has been banished. There are many more and Hee-woo will also protect the right of justice for everyone.

Again My Life Episode 16 Review

Again My Life Episode 16 ended leaving behind many questions. Lee Min-soo’s mysterious character still remained a mystery. Cho Tae-seub doesn’t look like someone who would suicide and nothing about his death was shown clearly. Chun Ho-ryeong of the Jewang group has reinstated Cho Tae-seub’s secret club which might be a hint toward the second season of Again My Life.
