My Liberation Notes (나의 해방일지) is a Korean drama series directed by Kim Suk-yoon and stars Kim Ji-won, Lee Min-ki, Son Suk-ku and Lee El, alongside other cast members. The series has 16 episodes. My Liberation Notes Episode 13 has a runtime of 68 minutes.

In My Liberation Notes Episode 13, Gu has been busy in Seoul, taking care of the club and the business. He goes from one place to another, checking on the club’s business. He is busy in the bustling Seoul but his life in Sanpo has made an impact on his life. He cannot bear loud sounds as he was used to the silence in Sanpo. He barely sleeps or eats because he has to eat alone in Seoul as compared to eating with the Yeom family in Sanpo.
Mi-jeong is still a temporary employee and it is about time she will become a permanent employee. She has always been a good designer but her boss looks down on her because he just doesn’t like her. She has participated in a design competition in her company and all of her colleagues think that she is going to win. Mi-jeong behaves as if nothing has happened after Gu left but she often goes up the hill alone at night where she had kissed Gu.

Gi-jeong has been meeting Tae-hun daily and even when he gets late at work, she sits at his sister’s restaurant. She has been trying to make his daughter comfortable with her presence but does not push her to like her or talk with her. Tae-hun’s elder sister does not approve of their relationship but Gi-jeong still bears her rude talks for the sake of Tae-hun and his daughter. Gi-jeong’s mom advises her against dating a father but gets relieved after she sees him once.
Chang-hee is taking shifts with Hyun-a to care for her boyfriend who is battling cancer in the hospital. Hyun-a’s boyfriend tells Chang-hee that Hyun-a always talks about him and even though Chang-hee doesn’t like her, he is sure that Hyun-a likes him. Chang-hee has quit his job after eight years of working but instead of appreciating him for working hard for all these years, his father asks for his further plan. Chang-hee lashes out at him and thinks that if he had an elder brother, his life would be much easier.
My Liberation Notes Episode 13 Ending
Gu has been missing Mi-jeong and Sanpo but holds himself back even when he wants to go. On the day, he finally decides to go, Sanpo welcomes him with shocks and surprises. A different woman comes out from the Yeom house and claims to be a part of the family. That woman is Mi-jeong’s father’s new wife.
Not long after Gu left Sanpo, Mi-jeong’s mother passed away and the siblings moved out of the house and now live in Seoul. Her father tells Gu that his kids went through a really hard time after their mother passed away and hands him Mi-jeong’s phone number. The Yeom family collapsed after the string that held them together broke.
My Liberation Notes Episode 13 Review
My Liberation Notes Episode 13 is painful to watch. Gu suffers alone in Seoul among the people who have no affection for him, nor does he have any for them. Mi-jeong’s boss doesn’t want her to work with him, Chang-hee has finally quit his job and Gi-jeong is trying to adjust to Tae-hun’s life despite the challenges. All of them are longing for something but there is no way to be seen in front of them.
