Shooting Stars(별똥별) is a 2022 Korean Drama featuring Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Park So-jin and Lee Jung-shin. The series is directed by Lee Soo-hyun and runs for 16 episodes. Shooting Stars Episode 9 has a runtime of 62 minutes and is titled A Star’s Lover.

In Shooting Stars Episode 9, Han-byul runs to meet Tae-sung but doesn’t get a chance to meet him. A group of fans have surrounded him and hence, she calls Kang Yu-sung who rescues him from the crowd of people. However, Tae-sung believes that Han-byul never came to visit him and he is upset. He has booked an entire theatre for her but she has been ignoring her messages.
Han-byul has promised Lawyer Do a dinner date with him but even when she is on the date, she feels uncomfortable. Do Soo-hyuk makes her feel comfortable by doing the right thing which impresses Han-byul. She meets Ki-ppeum and tells her about her confusing state of mind and the fact that Tae-sung has asked her out. Tae-sung is her first love but he is a superstar while Lawyer Do is just a regular working man.

Tae-sung waits for Han-byul in the movie theatre but she doesn’t show up. He has become more upset but gets delighted when he receives a text message from Han-byul. She is waiting outside her house and sprints towards the door. Han-byul gets inside and asks him whether he really likes her and if yes, how much. After he answers the questions, she gets flustered and kisses him. They kiss to seal the deal and start dating.
Both Tae-sung and Han-byul cannot contain their happiness. Han-byul tells Tae-sung that she rejected Lawyer Do and Tae-sung also makes it clear that he never dated Yeo Ha-jin. They are happy and energetic and their behaviour has changed. They behave like a typical couple and miss each other day and night. If no one else, Kang Yu-sung catches on it fast and asks Tae-sung if they are really dating because it shows.
Shooting Stars Episode 9 Ending
Just as Han-byul has started dating Tae-sung, a new rumour about Tae-sung dating someone breaks out. She gets scared at first but as she reads further she doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. The rumour says that Tae-sung is dating a handsome lawyer who not only works at his company but is also his neighbour. Do gets furious as everyone start showing him support.
Eun Si-woo has been trying to visit Tae-sung even when he doesn’t like it. He hates her even though he is her mother and she was the reason he became an actor. He didn’t become an actor after getting inspired by her but because he wanted to be more famous than her. She enters his house and sees his cook and recognizes her from the luxury store. She tries to stop that woman and interrogate her but Tae-sung interrupts. The mysterious woman looks like she has bad intentions toward Tae-sung.
Shooting Stars Episode 9 Review
In Shooting Stars Episode 9, Tae-sung expresses everything he has in his heart about Han-byul. Both of them have only liked each from the beginning and no one else. Tae-sung has been dense about his feelings for so long but finally understands them. Lawyer Do is the perfect man who treats Han-byul respectfully even after getting rejected.
