After a long wait, Marvel has finally dropped the much-awaited Thor Love and Thunder teaser. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and director Taika Waititi as Korg. The film also stars Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff. The studios also unveiled the first official poster.
Thor Love and Thunder teaser starts with Guns & Roses’ song ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ with Hemsworth’s God of Thunder saying, “These hands were once used for battle. Now they’re but humble tools for peace. I need to figure out exactly who I am.” Thor is working hard to get back in shape and wants to do something else in life. He also says that his super-heroing days are over. The teaser also features a message on screen, “Not every god has a plan.”
We then see Thor on his path of self-discovery while having some fun. The Thor: Love and Thunder teaser also give us a glimpse of Valkyrie, who’s now the King of New Asgard. The teaser also features the Guardians of the Galaxy. Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill/Star-Lord gives a helpful suggestion to Thor. Thor’s reaction and the moment between the two are adorably hilarious.
Chris shared the teaser on his Instagram page. He captioned it, “Here’s the first teaser for Thor Love And Thunder. All the feels of a classic Thor adventure . Big, loud and Crazy and full of heart. You’ll laugh you’ll cry, then you’ll laugh so much you’ll cry some more!! Love and Thunder coming at you all July 8th!! @marvelstudios @ThorOfficial #thorloveandthunder”.

Meanwhile, the film also stars Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. Portman’s Jane Foster will be yielding Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir and become the Mighty Thor. On Marvel.com, the film’s plot is described as follows, “Together, they all are set out on a harrowing journey to solve the mystery of God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him.” Read it here.
