Karisma Kapoor is marking her presence on screen again with the upcoming title Brown. The actor was last seen in the web series Mentalhood alongside Shilpa Shukla, Shruti Sen and others. Gaining critical fame after portraying the character of Meira Sharma on the Zee5 release, we are going to see the Raja Hindustani actor next in an Abhinay Deo directorial venture.
Kapoor recently took to her Instagram handle to share the good news. With the picture of a clapper board that had Brown written over it, Kapoor lurked in the background with dark and serious eyes. The post was captioned, “To new beginnings, Brown”. In the caption the actor further revealed that she is going to share the screen space with Netflix’s Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein actor Surya Sharma and, is being distributed by Zee Studios with Amongh Deshpande serving as the Director of Photography.

Kapoor was wished by her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan as well as her friend Amrita Arora for beginning this new journey. Kapoor’s co-star, Surya Sharma also expressed his excitement for the upcoming project sharing by putting a post similar to Karisma’s captioned: “A N N O U N C E M E N T: We are thrilled to announce our next project #Brown, a crime drama starring the beautiful and incredibly talented @therealkarismakapoor & directed by phenomenal @abhinayrameshdeo.”
