When host Karan Johar asked Deepika what she would like to gift Ranbir, she answered a box of condoms as he seems to use it most.
Subsequently, when further asked for a piece of advice she would like to give to Ranbir, she said he should endorse a condoms brand. Adding on to that even Sonam Kapoor said that Deepika did a great job hanging onto him for so long. The remarks shook up the media and the industry.
Salman Khan and Salim Khan (Season 4, Episode 1)

If there’s any episode that has broken the internet, then it is this episode starring Salman Khan and Salim Khan. The most sensational thing to come out it was when Salman said that he has ‘never had a girlfriend his entire life’. And how he wants to save himself for the person he would marry in the future. Well, shocking right?
Likewise, Karan couldn’t believe it himself and asked further on which Salman replied that he has had friends but nothing more than that. The episode sent shock waves around the country and media went frenzy that it became the hot topic of discussion for several months.
Emraan Hashmi and Mahesh Bhatt (Season 4, Episode 9)
The unconventional pair of Emraan Hashmi and his uncle Mahesh Bhatt are considered one of the best guests of the show, as it was refreshing to see the actor outside of his serial kisser character persona. The rapid fire round between the two guest was bang on as they said many things without thinking twice.
As Emraan called Aishwarya Rai plastic and Imran Khan as overrated actor, which adds up to him being the clear winner of the game but he didn’t win the hamper, unfortunately. Both of them are the best version of themselves where they bare it all with no hesitation and even the host didn’t have to nudge them to tell some personal stuff about their lives.

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt (Season 5, Episode 1)

The opening episode of this season was a blockbuster one. Obviously starring the King Khan and his Love You Zindagi co-star Alia Bhatt. They discussed everything from hook-ups and many lover of Alia to marrying people and killing some. SRK even went a step further and mimicked Arnab Goswami and talked about everything under the sheets and the couch.
The episode was truly fun to watch as KJo and SRK are close friends and their explosive and funny banter was hilarious to watch. SRK as the senior in the industry gave Alia many tips and good career advices that every debuting actor should note.
Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh (Season 5, Episode 4)
If bromance were to be represented by a talk show episode then this episode would be it. Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer episode was an absolute fun, from breaking into spontaneous dance sequences to singing random tunes, the two actors showed us a dynamic chemistry on the show. They talked about their love lives and took dig at KJo for ruining their image on the show. Ahem… Deepika.
Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan (Season 5, Episode 16)
There are very few moments where someone could shake and leave Karan Johar too stunned to speak. One such episode is when Kangana Ranaut appeared on the show and accused him of Nepotism. She has always been vocal about nepotism in Bollywood and called him being a flag bearer of nepotism, as he has launched many star kids in the Hindi film industry such as Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ananya pandey.
The remarks spread out like wild fire and started a debate about nepotism in the industry which seems to be brought up every now and then whenever a new comer enters Bollywood.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol (Season 6, Episode 7)
Kajol and Ajay Devgn graced Karan Johar’s couch for the first time after their rumoured split over clashing release dates of Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Devgn’s Shivaay. But this episode primarily stood out for Johar’s public apology over inserting a chapter in his autobiography about how the friendship is over and things between the two are never going to be the same. On the show he apologized to Kajol and expressed his wish to erase the chapter from his biography.
